A/c not cooling or blowing right
Most of the time you're a little low on freon...u can get a gage and a couple cans of freon for about $50 bucks at Oriely's. Make sure you're coolant level is good too....sometimes a low coolant level can cause your AC to cool intermitantly...I've had that problem...and if you can't keep the coolant level where it needs to be without is boiling over, then you have a bad thermostat, that's just a matter of a new thermostat, 4 botls, and a new gasket...hope this helps!
I have a gmc safari van. we had heat until changed
You have air in the system.Make sure the over flow bottle is to the full hot level and start and run the vehicle.Do not let it overheat.Shut it off and let it cool down. The coolant from the over flow bottle should go into the engine. This could taker a while.Refill the coolant bottle to full hot level and repeat til air starts coming out warm.Make sure you put the the heater to the floor heat.Good luck.
Went out to start van and it seem as if it wont
That sounds like a starter issue. If the engine is clicking when you turn the key on it will be starter. If there is nothing when your turning key on it's probably battery or solenoid issue. Solenoid for starter is located attached to the side of your starter.
Looking to see haw difficult it is to change power

The following procedure requires the use of the GM Puller tool No.
J-29785-A (1985-92), Puller J-25034-B (1993-96) or equivalent, and the
GM Pulley Installer tool No. J-25033-B or equivalent.
-
Disconnect the negative battery cable for safety.
-
For 1996 vehicles, remove the air cleaner assembly for access.
-
For 1993-96 vehicles, remove the hood latch and the upper fan
shroud.
-
Release tension and remove the drive belt.
-
Remove the power steering pump pulley using a suitable puller
tool.
-
Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts, then reposition
the pump as necessary for access to the hoses.
-
Position a fluid catch pan under the power steering pump.
-
Remove the hoses from the power steering pump and drain the excess
fluid into the catch pan.
WARNING
Be sure to cap all openings in the pump hydraulic system to
prevent excessive fluid spillage and the possibility of system
contamination.
-
Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.
To install:
-
Position the pump to the vehicle, then uncap and connect the pump
hoses.
-
Install the steering pump to the retaining bracket, then secure
using the retaining bolts. Tighten the power steering pump-to-bracket
bolts to 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm). For 1996 vehicles, tighten the nut to 30
ft. lbs. (41 Nm).
On early-model vehicles where the drive belt is tensioned by pivoting
the power steering pump assembly, do NOT fully tighten the mounting
bolts at this time, since you will just have to loosen them again for
belt installation and adjustment.
-
Install the pump pulley using the GM Pulley Installer tool No.
J-25033-B or equivalent. Press the drive pulley onto the power steering
pump.
-
Hand-tighten the pivot bolt, the adjusting bolt and the washer.
-
Install the drive belt. On early-model vehicles so
equipped, properly adjust the belt tension. For details on belt
installation and tension adjustment.
-
For 1993-96 vehicles install the upper fan shroud and the hood
latch assembly.
-
For 1996 vehicles, install the air cleaner assembly.
-
Connect the negative battery cable.
-
Refill the power steering reservoir and bleed the power steering
system.
-
Remove the jackstands and carefully lower the vehicle.
-
Road test the vehicle, then check and top-off the power steering
fluid.
hope this help (remember rated this post) Good luck.
No head lights!
Check the headlight switch itself. I had one go bad and the interior lights would work etc, but not the headlights. The headlight switch has several contacts inside it and it sounds like one set is bad. You should be able to test it with a meter once you have it out. Fairly easy to remove and test with any ohm meter.
