It is very common for the coils to go bad on these. If the engine is running rough than it should be fairly easy to swap the number 6 coil with another cylinders coil and see if the misfire follows. Sounds like your security system failed, which is common in these cars There is a module that u can get to bypass. It works and u can install it yourself. check this out.. Hope it helps

Sounds like you have a screwed up microprocessor. You could try to reset the unit by finding the main power and disconnecting it for 20 seconds. If you cannot find the power cable, you could try to disconnect the vehicle's battery for few minutes, then power up and see if that helps.

14.2 is perfect as far as voltage is concerned bt ther could be other issues. Was it a new alternator. A used alternator couldhave bad diodes giving you a false light.Most of the franchise parts houses such as autozone advance some others,do a charging system electrical check at no charge.That would be my advice to you as well as having them clear the computer. Have a auto electrician check that the 14.2 volts is actually dc current as it if it is ac then there is a problem in the rectifier of the alternator

Are you looking to discharge and remove air bag or just remove from steering column

To remove air bag from steering column
Disconnect battery
Behind steering wheel there are four bolts tha hold bag on
They are tricky to see the bolt holes but their there tight spot
Now for the trick of wiring hopefully new style came with a release wire clip older style fed wires down column with release clip located under dash
Remove the key ignition box
The wires should be bright orange or yellow from air bag going threw column
If old style you will have to loosen turn signal indicators if wires run under mount
Once you get to end of wire clip
Use a sewing needle to push buds out of clip mark your the main side
Now for ease part
Tape a little 3 foot wire to the ends before pull completley threw this will help pull bud wires back down threw tutn indicator switch
Never force wire threw gently
Removing air bag hopefully made simple by quick release clip under horn press

have you tried replacing the fuse and also looking at the connections under the seat

It could possibly be dirty injectors. Try a good injector cleaner, I've had good luck with sea foam bra

Sounds like you have a shorted ground, some brake systems have a switched ground to control the lights. If your lights are staying on it sounds like the switch wire has a short to chassis ground. Check the wiring around the tail lights area.
