go to www.modulemasters.com

The dealer will charge you $1300 - $2000. Contact Module Masters. They are great to deal with. You have to ship it to Moscow, Idaho. It cost me about $15 to ship it (with box, packing, and insurance at a UPS store). They charged me $130 to rebuild it and gave me a 5 year warranty. It cost $8 to ship it back. To in total, it cost me $153....totally turn-key.

all you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02, mdarb and gm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!

My Rearview mirror temp/compass display quit working. Is there a fuse for this?

Answer

Yes. Look in the Fuse Panel inside the Truck. Use a Good Maglight or LED Flashlight and Hold it Behind the Fuses to see the Blown Ones. It is usually in an AUX Outlet. Also check thr Fuse Relay Box under the Hood for a Blown Fuse using the Same Method. See if there is a Relay for this also. If so, Replace it. Let me know if you need any more Help! my 2002 had same problems and to fix, I loosened the hose clamp on the throttle body air intake to air box hose. Then opened the butteryfly by hand and used throttle body cleaner, used carb cleaner on another, and removed all the black grime that collects around the throttle body butterfly. About every forty thousand miles i have to do this. I have 123k on mine now and have done it three times. Fixes the low idle, dying in reverse, lite flicker and alternator dropout.

Home it works, if it does
thanks

First you will need to remove your tension belt from all your pullies. This is usually done finding a pully that provides tension to and takes away from the belt. HINT: It will be one that doesnt have abunch of mechanical part atached behind it. After removing hte belt in the center of the motor about mid ways up there is a pully that has a hose runing behind it. The other end of the hose goes to the radiator. Well where this plugs into the motor is the waterpump. you more than likely will need to remove the pully from the pump. afd88a0.jpgAbove is a picture of your pump with the pulley removed. The four bolts in the center are how you disconnect the pulley and the four on the side of the pump are how you disconnect from the motor. Make sure when you get done and all back together to look around the new pump for leaks.
