1995 GMC Sierra - Page 2 Questions & Answers
1995 GMC Sierra 350, Truck has been idling rough.Changed spark plugs EGR valve test drove ran little better. Let sit at idle for a few moments, the truck stalled. Now will not start. Any suggestions?
I would think its a fuel problem.
Try changeing the fuel filter and the air filter but just remove that for now .
The filter is in line drivers side under the drivers door area and is not easy to do but not expensive under 10 dollars .
When you get it off and have gas all over you don't smoke .
Take a plastic soda bottle put it over the line comeing from the tank put the key on run not start .This should make the fuel pump pump if an electric pump. The pump is mesaured IN FLOW PRE MIN and its high because it has return line to the tank if its fuel injection.
So if in 10 sec. 4 to 5 ounces out put the pump is vary good .
If not the pump isn't supplying enough fuel to the system
There are other issues like the fuel injection system and the pressure regulator.
I owen a similiar vehicle you just never what will go wromg NEXT .yet my 30 old ford ranger runs like a new vehicle I fix it of course
Truck fires really well but wont start, seems like no fuel
Please define "fire power". Is this just the power from the battery swinging the engine, or did you check if there is a healthy spark on the plug wires? If an engine dies without warning, the chances are very good it is the crank angle sensor in which case there will not be any spark on the wires even though the starter will swing the engine quite lustily without starting.
Replace the tps and the
easiest thing to do. and i know this one from experience. check your timing. its probably not timed properly. this makes for hard starts. engine bogging down while acceleration. shifting hard due to to high an rpm range before shifting
1995 gmc sierra 1500 windshield wipers work on
It is the pulse module inside the wiper motor. It has bad solder joints were the wiring connector is soldered to the pused module board. You can either replace the module or just touch up the solder joints yourself.

Speedometer on my 95 gmc sierra 4.3l v6 is
If you have recently changed from stock wheels and tires to aftermarket, the problem could be as simple as your wheels turning more revolutions per mile due to a tire height change. That would cause the speedometer to register high.
1995 gmc jerks
could be a whole slue of things. I'd start by having your alliment checked. Wouldn't hurt to take a peek under it and check all the rubbers on the joints and all your mounts.
