How do you check fuel pump on 2004 gmc yukon.
Go to your local Autozone or Advanced Auto and they can check it for you. It is free as well! Can't beat that. Or you can buy an OBD2 scanner from them or online, and lookup the codes yourself. Those are about your only options. Hope I helped. If you have any more questions, post on my site. I will get back with you asap. codfanboys.comli.com
TURNING EXTREEMELY TOUGH . BUT
Most common fault is the steering rack ,it has valves inside and one of these could be faulty ,cannot see it being a ball joint as it would be stiff both ways but sometimes the bearing on top of the macpherson strut can get dry and corroed causing this problem ,what to do here is to put some engine oil where the nut is in the middle or the big washer on top of the leg under the bonnet and run car around for a few days and see it helps .When i service a vehicle i always put a drop of oil here as a matter of course to stop this sort of thing from happening .Its what comes from being a commercial vehicle fitter for many years and taught to use the grease gun and the oil can and if it moves lubricate it

How do you reset computer
When you restart the car, the ecm will read sensors and reset itself to adapt to inputs it receives. Let the car idle for a few minutes, no gas petal at all, then drive it gently for a few minutes-then drive it normally. Because is has adaptive memory it will adjust for your driving techniques, and within 40 or 50 miles it will be completely set.
2004 GMC Denali speedometer needle stops
All Chevy and GMC trucks (pick-ups, Tahoes, Yukons, Suburbans etc.) during the years 2002-2004 had issues with the IPC (instrument panel clusters). The would be erratic, and sometimes stick at a certain speed and not move, or occasionally work then stop at a speed, then jump to the next speed. It is a common problem. Unfortunately the only fix is to replace the IPC, and have it reprogrammed at a dealership, or repair facility capable of programming. The IPC is actually a module, and communicates on the data line with other computers. The mileage will also need to be reprogrammed into the new IPC.
Front passenger power seat
Check the fuse located underneath the drivers side steering wheel. Flip over the plastic fuse box cover lid and you will find a diagram that shows what fuse controls the seat. Replace that fuse with the same number fuse.
CHANGING HEAD LIGHT
After opening the hood, look at the top of the headlight assy. You will see to short metal rods, one on eace side if the light. You just unclip the rods and lift them out. The headlight assy will pull forward, change the bulb (dont touch the bulb with your hands-use gloves) slide the assy back in till the holes line up. Reinstall the rods and snap them back in. Its about a 15 minute job.

They do have problems with the instrument clusters going nuts and not working, I've replaced a computer on one that would start and then die and had one with a bad ground wire causing weird problems. I love them. Fuel mileage? ummm.Bet just say tread lightly
