My van will not turn
The starter motor when cranking the engine when energized, causes the crankshaft to turn and the belt pulleys will also turn. If the starter motor just sounds without engaging, there is a problem with the starter solenoid or the starter great teeth or the ring great teeth.
Once the engine cranks but will not run, the engine must have compassion, fuel and spark for it to run.

How do I get my window to go down on my 92 safari van passenger side power windows.
with every thing apart did you check for power and ground at the motor when operating the switch, in both directions. if you do have them then you can hit the window motor while pushing on the button and sometimes the motor will start to work. however it may stop working at any time. if it does not work then the motor needs replacing. either way its a good idea to replace the motor seeing as you have everything apart.

Brake Light out on 1992 GMC Safari
Hi Jeffery, Im glad to help!
Almost all the time when you replace the bulb for the Hi-Mount brake lamp and it still doesn't light up. Its usually a wiring issue near the back door. Here's what you need to do to find the problem. Remove the lamp assembly and with a test light and a good ground start probing the wire from the lamp and forward to the front of the vehicle until the test light lights up. When it does you have found the break in the wire. You'll need to do this on the ground wire also if you don't find a power wire issue. But with the ground wire you'll need to connect your test light to the positive side of the battery. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Jeffery.

No heat
did you change the thermostat?
if so. disconnect the upper hose that is connected to the firewall, it is the return for the heater core. and disconnect the lower hose as well. hook a water hose to the upper side and start with a low flow as to not blow out the finns. if this does not work you may have a stuck valve under the dash that opens the heat flap.

My 1991 gmc safari started but killed in the
neutral safety switch , burned fusable link wire or possibly the ignition switch down on the column is out of adjustment. If you have a tilt column try moving up and down all the way to see if it will start if it does your switch is not adjusted correctly or you may have a broken ignition rack inside the column. The ign. rack is what mechanically pushes the rod to activate the switch when you rotate the lock cylinder .. Check the small wire going to the starter for power when the key is in the start position. BE SURE THE CAR IS SAFELY ON STANDS.

No heat on a 1992 gmc asfarie van
the heater core on a Safari/Astro van is higher then the radiator, to solve my probem, I installed a reverse flush kit form Prestone, then I was able to fill the entire cooling system.

The blower will not blowair
Hi,Commonly caused by a bad 'blower resistor'. You'll need to search online - Google: Safari blower resistor or Astro Blower resistor - on WHERE the resistor is located.GL,Td
