EGR code 1999 Dodge Neon
Hello, you could try pulling it and the pipe off and cleaning it before replacing it. An egr is pretty expensive. When you go to clean it use Carb cleaner.

If switching relays got the car started for you before, maybe you had a relay that was sticking. Check the fuel pump relay & the ASD (Automatic Shutdown) relay. Either relay will keep the fuel pump from working. Listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key on. It should run for a few seconds & then stop.

I have a 1994 Plymouth
Hi there... with the radiator cap off, start the van and let it warm up. Once the thermostat opens you will see the coolant start to circulate in the rad. let it run for 10 - 15 minutes and add more coolant as needed. you will know when there is no more air because the coolant leve, won't go down anymore. Top up the rad and put the cap back on. make sure the overflow resevoir has coolant in it to the full mark and youre done. Hope this helps you out

MY battery light came on and
i think the alternator/regulator is overcharging the battery. this explains the cd player turning on and off and the headlight blowing. overcharging also will boil the battery fluid down and trap explosive gases in the battery. when it got really hot because of the lack of fluid, the battery shorted out and ignited the gases in the battery. replace the battery headlight and alternator, and check the output of the system at the battery while running it should be between 13.6 and 14.5.

Overflow resevior for the radiator.
overflow/header tank? for cooling system YES most problems of cracking are either lack of anti freeze in system? or excesspressure of cooling system o/heat? causes expansion and possible weak joint? will crack ? or an impact / leverage to tank during work under hood ?

1999 Dodge Neon R/T hand Brake
You have a broken cable, or one of its parts. You need to trace the cable from the "pull" back to where it splits to go to the left and right rear brakes, and finally to each rear brake. You will most likely need to get under the vehicle and for this you will need to jack it up. Please be safe, or if uncomfortable, take to a trained mechanic, that should be able to fix this for very little money.
If you choose to go it yourself, please check out
this article.
Regards,
Brian
