What other size engine can fit my 2000 Yukon
The best way to get a quick answer to that is to look somewhere like the Kelley Blue Book, to see what engine options came as original equipment (it will ask which you have, in order to set a price, and in the process will list the available engines for that model). However, I would call a vendor that replaces engines, because they could both quote you a price AND tell you which other engines would/would not mate to your existing transmission, which is a very important factor to consider.
Alarm chimes 6-8 times when i turn off
i think that is a factory setting if it is a factory alarm. I have a 2001 and my horn honks once when I set it and no noise when I turn it off.(you probably have a aftermarket alarm)
