These cables use a spring blade of metal to keep them in place. Depress the spring and slide the end up to remove it. The other end has a TORX bolt I think. It may require a impact driver to remove these.

Do you have HIDS, cheap HID kits flicker? otherwise check the wiring harness. could be a loose connection.

you didn't say what you are trying to unplug but most plugs have a tang or tab that you need to press or pull outward to get the plug to come apart.

If you are replacing this I guess you have a console shifter there is a small allen screw at the base of the knob

CK SERPINTINE BELT TENSIONER ,IF IT IS NOT MANTAINING CORRECT TENSION ON BELT IT WILL SLIP AT HIGHER RPM, ALSO CK BATTERY ,BAD CELL CAN CAUSE THIS ISSUSE

You have to check the fuel pump pressure to make sure it is supplying sufficient fuel pressure..Try turning the switch to on but do not start..now listen for the fuel pump to prime the system..it should run for 4-5 seconds the shut off..now try and start..if it is fully primed it should start...note although you are getting some gas dosent mean the pump is ok...sometimes it starts to go bad and then all at once it will let you down for good...have it checked out..good luck

Try replacing the Crankshaft Position Sensor located on the lower front of the motor behind the crank pulley. The sensors are somewhat common to create an open circuit when they heat up, but work again when the coil inside of it cools down. I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma P/U not a Lexus. Sorry....The Lexus is made by Toyota and my understanding is that if the switch is bad then of course the light won't work. If my tire blows out do you think it can still hold air?

check the self fuse...i think self is the problem...repair it
