1990 chevy celebrity shuts off

When was the last time you changed the air filter ?? Do you pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner once a month into the fuel tank ?? Clogged dirty fuel injectors will give the symptoms you describe.

My turn signal doesn't work? I have get all for the lights bulbs. And cant found the fuse for the flashes. Can some one help to found out what wrong?

It may very well be the turn signal flasher itself, which will be located near the fuse block at the lower right of the steering column. Once you remove the fuse block cover, you should be able to see the flasher (usually dangling free by its wires) just above the fuse block, although sometimes you have to feel around a bit because, as it's dangling free, it can sometimes bounce around and get behind or to the side of the fuse block. Once you find it, you should be able to gently pull the flasher/wiring assembly down enough to be able to remove the flasher and replace it. If you do NOT find it relatively easily, it should be noted that on certain models of the Celebrity, the flasher is actually clipped to the side of the ashtray rather than dangling free; I do not believe that this will be the case on your '90, but it's the only other place to look if you can't find it right around the fuses. Good luck!

I have a 1990 chevy

Just a suggestion, but I would say check over your new wires and just to be sure, check all of your fuses as well. Do not do a half job on checking all of your fuses though. Take each one out and inspect it well just to be sure.

Where is the fuse for the lighter in a 1990 chevy

not sure, but on my 89 camaro it was the courtesy fuse. the courtesy light fuse should be in the fuse box directly below the ashtray. worth a shot to see if you can get the lighter working

How to tell if the computer is bad

you could go to an autoparts store and have them try to read the codes coming out of it. if it says that it cannot communicate it could be bad. if you cannot get it to the store then the computer should run about $100, replace it if it fixes your problem then it was bad. if nothing changes take it back. also the computer is behind the glove box. i had trouble finding it.

Where is the oil filter

If it is a 2.5 i found if in the oil pan has large ring you need to remove and replace with new one
the oil filter is an open type filter not canaster contained. drain oil and remove ring socket size is close to an inch but metric the you will see the filter just pull it off with a pair of pliers and slide on a new one then replace ring
dont over tighten ring as you might squish the rubber seal to much hope this helps >

1990 Celebrity Wagon (Eurosport) 3.1

The ignition module and the coil pack are not the same thing .. i think the coil pack is mounted on the front side of the engine nearest the radiator it might have three separate coils or they maybe all be in one pack . the ignition module is mounted under the coil pack . i would look at the ignition module 1st if the coil are separate and the crank sensor before i would replace the coils . a lot of these cars suffer from heat soak . which means when they get hot and some of the circuits open and cause a no spark condition . which is what the ignition module do a lot .

The curtesy fuse blew in

that sounds like there maybe damaged wires or that there is a wiring fault. the new fuse you put in wasn't a bigger fuse then it is meant to have in it is it? cause if so instead of the fuse blowing the wires may melt together and damage parts or catch on fire etc.

I have a 1990 Chevy Celebrity 3.1 multiport v6

If you have no spark, have it scanned to see if you have an rpm reading. If not, the the crankshaft sensor would be the most likely culprit.

Injectors shouldn't effect each other
You may have a bad coolant temp sensor, and it doesn't go into closed loop.
That is when it is warm and the O2 Sensors control the injector timing.
A bad thermostat also
Egr Valve ? Rusted out exhaust tube to egr
Vacuum Leaks?
Exhaust Leaks,near sensors?
