All the signal lights work
If you have a test light, check the wire going to that light, if it lights, the bulb socket might be bad.
If it doesn't light, trace the wire for a break os short.

I have a 2000 s-10
Try to get a schematic on your year and model truck, sometimes you can get one online or get a copy
at the library, or purchase from alldata info on just your truck, its very affordable and will give you a
wealth of info. it sounds like you have a poor ground, if you have a poor or dirty ground that is not
making good contact you will have a lot of resistance to the flow of voltage and current. in direct volts
and current voltage and current flows from negative to positive, negative=ground and positive=hot dc
if you have a poor ground you will have lights that may not work or may even go on and off as you hit
bumps on the road. you can use a test light to check for voltage, check at the fuse in coming from the
battery , the other side of the fuse, make sure you have the correct fuse for its purpose. check for volts
at the lights. you can also use a digital ohm meter. a test light is quicker, easier and cheaper for its
purpose, unless your looking for a precise voltage you want to use a meter. you can find a ground
most anywhere on your truck where you can clip your test light and probe for voltage. just make sure
the power to your lights is on. good luck!

I have a 1993 4.3
5 years ago for cap & rotor???? It sounds like it's in dire need of a complete tune up - plugs. wires, cap, rotor, all fluids & filters ESPECIALLY fuel filter. I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it. Do your tune ups more frequently like every 30K - not wait 5 years!
I have an automatic 1993
Check your fluid level ensuring it is full of fluid. If the level is right, what color is the fluid? Bright red is good. Darker red to real dark is not good. If fluid is dirty, you will need to pull the pan, draining the fluid. While drining the fluid from the pan, check for metal shavings and residue. If there is not a lot of residue in the pan or around the magnet, pull the filter. Make sure you pull the o ring out of the tube where the filter plugs into the valve body (A new one comes with the new filter).
Replace the filter with a new one, put gasket on pan, mount it all back together, and refill with fluid.
Good luck.
WATER RUNING OUT OF BACK OF ENGINE...freeze plug?
At that age, good possibility, but also check hoses and clamps . Also watch for any other leaks, where water may travel to the back of the engine, because of the air pushing it from front to back when the vehicle is moving. Hope this helps-Jim
I have a 93 s-10 tahoe and it loses oil pressure
THis is the classic symptoms of either a clogged oil screen or a bad oil pump. When the oil is cold (thick) the system is easiest to reach the required pressure. As the oil warms up (thinner) it is difficult to maintain the pressure. Try flushing the engine oil and putingin new oil and filter. THis may solve the problem...if not, look to change the oil pump. Goodd luck..
How do u read the
If your talking about the Check engine light. You will need a CHEVROLET OBD I code reader. the auto makers used their own style of ports and language until OBD II in 1996. The code reader can be purchased at most auto parts stores and it isn't very expensive.
What is the firing order of a 1993 s10 2.8L V6 and
In your truck the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. Number 1 cylinder is on the pass side front. So it is numbered on the pass side from front to rear 1-3-5 and on the drivers side front to rear 2-4-6. The distributer rotor will turn clockwise looking at it from the grill of the truck. Number one plug wire in the cap should be at the 7 o'clock location. going around the cap clockwise starting in the 7 o'clock position, the wires should run 1-2-3-4-5-6..
Note: The 2.8L v6 #1 cylinder location is opposite of the 4.3L v6 or any of the v8's. Hope this helps.
