I don't have one in front of you, so this is a generic answer. Important: unhook wiring connector or connectors under the seat! If you don't, you will rip it out when you remove the seat and it will be a huge expense to repair/replace it. You should see 4 bolts that attached to each seat legs, unbolt these. If there is nothng else attached to it, you simply remove the seat.

Not sure where the freeze plugs are but these engines have a bad reputation of having the lower intake manifold gaskets that leak from their corners that connect to the engine block.

hope you ran it till it warmed up to make sure its not just moisture ,if it still has water running out tail pipe head gasket is the problem ,check your coolant resivor ,for pressure and or the smell of exhaust .

One of them the PCM - engine computer gives power too- first when key turned on , two second prim ,then when engine is cranking , PCM has to see a signal from the crank sensor . Applying power where it shouldn't be can fry the PCM . GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing

Any codes? Sounds like maf sensor or tps.

Look for a broken heater hose.

Check battery cable on the + side. There may be 2 cables sandwiched together on the + lug. One runs the computer and the other is everything else. Mine was loose and car would die.

Sounds like you blew a head gasket or even worse. Get a pressure tester from your local parts store and pressure the system up. Most of the time I've found bad intake gasket and the bypass elbows bad. Parts don't cost much but takes a few hours to fix.

You have a blockage somewhere in the system not allowing the coolant to circulate. Also the water pump could be bad. Could be a bad water pump

Check your cylinder cap where you add oil to the engine see what color of the oil if it's coffee with cream ,it started to mix your coolant to the oil

If problems when driving, not idling, I don't think the iac is the problem? When the throttle valve is open, the iac has nothing to do with it, in my opinion. Any applicable trouble codes? If I understand your post correctly, I'd probably check your ignition switch. The iac should be on the throttle body, four wire connector, you can see the wire colors.

Air or fuel filters dirty,or failing fuel pump?

If your not going to fix the horn plate in the column. Wiring a horn button is easy. You need a hot lead from the fuse panel to the after market button and from the other side to the horn button under the hood unit (grill area). Most horn unit are self grounding.

sounds like a bad solenoid on the starter. replace the 1999 starter(Its old).

You are to get it served. I can tell you which parts are to be replaced, but, it's not easy DIY.

Somethings loose. Check the plug on the back. You may have to take it partially out to do so!
