My truck starter stays on after a start the truck

starter relay may be stuck solenoid sticking if starter has been replaced may need to shim starter some reman. starters the gear spacing is too tight beteen starter and fly wheel

1999 chevy s-10 4.3 it crancks but wont start. i have replaced the camsensor and the cranck sensor and it throws a code saying camshaft position sensor malfunction what do i need to do?

If you got one at pepboys or any other parts store, other than at the dealership this does happen.

A lose rear veiw mirror 99 s10

If its the windshield mirror, gm usually uses a phillips or torx head screw to tighten the mirror to the base, which is glued to the glass with a special adhesive. If the screw is tight and it's the mirror joints that are loose, replace the mirror. If it's the door mirror, the inner trim on the door needs to be removed to tighten the mounting bolts. If the outside foldaway joint is loose, you will probably need to replace the complete mirror.

No power at dlc s10 xtream

check all fuses. fuse #2 on the left side of the dash should be the power source for dlc. also labeled as cigar lighter. if it is blown make sure you check the lighter for a penny or something. Usually the most common cause for a blown fuse for that circuit

Clutch pedal soft barely disengages

1. there is clutch master cylinder kits that gets worn over time and turns the fluid greyish, they need to be replaced, But the master cylinder has to be smooth inside with no ridges or scratch that may damage the replaced kits. New fuild is needed after replacing the kits. 2. breeding the clutch system is necessary after assembling

I have a 1996 S-10 4x4 that has no reverse, hard to go into 2nd gear and has no overdrive.

nice truck.change fluid and filter. remember to drain converter.some of these had the output shaft from the engine to transmission go bad so check that too. there is a module on the side of the trans that does the shifting so I would get a new one. they go bad at your mileage.

Water leak

there is only one thing that leaks water there, that is the AC condensation drain, water forms as part of the AC cooling the evaporator core, this water must be drained away or it will flood onto passenger area, so there is a drain on the passenger side at bottom of firewall, will leak allot of water depending on how humid the air is.

Ecmb fuse keeps blowing on my 99 s-10 put new fuel pump in about a month ago and worked great since then but today it shut off and blew the fuse again not sure what to look for.

Well that circuit powers the memory for the computer as well as the fuel pump relay and other things.You might be able to pull the pump relay and see if the fuse still blows, it will be tough to find the problem if it is at random times.You'll probably need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams to trace it.

You know you are setting yourself up for a fall when you say you checked everything.Is the blend door working under the dash ?It controls the vent temp.

Good fuel pressure. engine turns will not start.

Replace the fuel pressure regulator in the intake plenum. This is the No. 1 problem for hard starting with the 4.3 L engine. It leaks fuel and loses fuel pressure when sitting for a few hours. You can try to cycle starter for a split second without cranking wait 3 seconds the turn key OFF then repete 3 times then tryto start. This will build up lossed fuel pressure and verify leaky fuel pressure regulator. Joe ASE Master Tech
