2004 dodge intrepid. As fast as you put water in

There are a couple in between the block and the transmission. I suspect one of these has rotted out. If coolant is coming from in between the transmission and the oil pan than unfortunately for you the transmission will need to be removed on order to repair the bad frost plug. Speed odometer won't work and transmission won't change gears

You probably have a check engine light staying on too. My first guess would be the speed sensor on the transmission but I would check for trouble codes first.

Where is the speed censor located

It is located on the left side of the transmission about half way up the body toward the output end. Has a wire clip attatched and looks similar to a coolant sensor. (about 3/4 inch diameter and a couple inches tall)

After getting the up to

You need to have the solenoid inside your transmission replaced. That is the P1776 code, and it is what is causing the P0700 code.

Also, make sure to do a transmission fluid flush and change, along with changing the transmission filter.

Would air in the linez of my 04 doge intrepid make i over heat

Hi David, I'm glad to help. Anytime a radiator, water pump, head gasket or any thing to do with the cooling system is replaced it will have air trapped in the system. Here's how to fix it. Loosen the bleeder screw near the thremostat housing and fill the coolant bottle until you see coolant running out of the bleeder. Once the coolant is running out of the bleeder, start the engine and let it bleed some more until all the air is out of the system. Hope this helps and have an awesome day David.

My dodge intrepid over heatz when my heat dont work every few dayz

Hi David, I'm glad to help. 3 Things could be happening here. (1) There could be air trapped in the cooling system somewhere, which you can remove with thye bleeder screw near the thermostat housing. Try this first. (2) The cooling fans may be trying to go out for the radiator. The next time the problem occurs raise the hood and see if the cooling fans are working, if not replace the cooling fan module from the dealer. (3) Blown Head Gasket. This is not very likely because you say it happens ever few days and if it were a head gasket then it would happen after running a few minutes everytime. Hope this helps and have an awesome day David.

How do you change a water pump in a 2004 dodge intrepid?

Good luck with that. Take it to a capable mechanic with the right specialty tools. Its located inside the engine behind the timing chain. Its a mother to replace yourself. Takes about 8 hours labor. Will run about 750$ to replace. I say use a mechanic because it involves alot and anything can go wrong removing and replacing all those components.

What should the presures be when recharging ac on a 2004 intrepid

if you take to a AC repair shop they will do all the checks you need and if required top up the refrigerant , not at all costly and they have the correct equipment for the job , not really a thing for the home mechanic
