Brake lights not working
Inspection and Verification
- Visually inspect the following for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
Visual Inspection Chart

Electrical
- Central junction box (CJB)
- Brake pedal position (BPP) switch
- Multifunction switch
- CJB fuse 2 (20A)
- Circuitry
- Stop lamp bulbs
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Symptom Chart.

I have a 2003 ford
Check out the fuel pump on an oscillscope
Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail
Need a clean fuel filter
Check TPS with a scope
I say scope because it will show you
quickly what is going on,where as a
volt meter only gives you numbers (volts)
Scope the O2 Sensors also or replace if
at 100,000 miles (front 2 only)
Spray throttle plate and MAF Sensor
with the CRC Products for those two
