89 Pontiac Sunbird stalls everytime I press the brake w/Lights on

Per your observations, I would suggest you check the fuel pump harness ground connection to the body. It should be located in the rear of the car and will have a several black wires with it screwed into the body.
I believe you are having a feed back problem caused by a loose or damaged ground connection.
You can also look at the fuel pump harness at the tank, find the black wire for the fuel pump ground, solder in a new ground wire and run it to the frame rail and screw it down. That will give you a good ground and the problem will go away.
Good luck and let me know how it goes.
Regards,

How to replace valves stem seals on pontiac

Hi there, Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual at your local AP store for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step RR section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy

Sunbird turbo kick out

When the fuel system can"t provide any more fuel it will cut off (similar to electronic speed cut) to save itself from leaning out. Its not a good idea to take that hose off as it will boost itself to death, it has no way of controling how much boost is run and it'll be a matter of what goes first, the engine or the turbo.

I can t find where to put the transmission fluid

The transmission dipstick should be near the intake manifold. Sounds like low fuel pressure, maybe a filter or a pump.

Pontiac sunbird 1989

Hi gege01!

Yes, you DO need a special tool to properly install the bushings, but you might be able to improvise a bushing screw-press with some allthread, nuts, fat washers, and some appropriately sized pipe section or sockets, one wide enough to accept the bushing for engaging the control arm, the other small enough to fully engage the bushing head.
Lubricate the bushing with silicone grease, run the allthread (double nutted securely in place at the end) through (in this order) a large washer, the larger diameter pipe section, the control arm bushing mounting hole, the new bushing center hole, the smaller diameter pipe section, washers large enough to fully engage the smaller pipe section, and finally attach another nut to hold the whole thing together. Holding the double nutted end, tighten the other nut to slowly compress the new bushing into the control arm.
Some guys do it with sockets and big hammers, but they generally end up with damaged bushings and smashed fingers!
Hope this helps and good luck!

Signal flasher

Hi, Is this problem with both sides i.e. Left & Right turn or is it just one side?
If it is just the one side, it could be that water has got into your indicator light either the front or back causing the bulb holder to corrode giving you the problem your having.
It also may be that a bulb has blown on the front or back as this can also cause the problem you are having.
The other reason could be that the earth wire, is not earthing on the car properly and if this is the case the earth wire will need finding and undone, so it can be sanded underneath where the earth wire touches the car and doing this will ensure the wire is grounded properly as it can corrode, where the earth strap is bolted to the car. How ever this is the least likely cause of your problem!
Do the signal lights come on and stay on without flashing or do they stay off, but does the signal light on the dash board come on as normal and flash does this also just stay on.
Please let me know and i will be able to assist you further.

Dtc trouble code 54 3.1 pontiac sunbird 1991

You have to check voltage at the fuel tank pump Usually is a corroded wire between the fuel pump relay and the pump or the fuel pump relay defect. You need to check with voltmeter and the feedback at PCM (Powertrain control module). Hope it helps.
