Like any exhaust leak, it will be noisier. When the car is started, and before the exhaust gets too hot, put your hand along the pipe and feel for exhaust air being pushed out. You don't have to touch it, just feel close for an exhaust leak. If it's leaking, you should feel it.

So you've checked the voltage at the fuel pump, and it is all good?

How about fuel filter?

what about clogged injectors?

Maybe whatever controls the injectors is either shot, or perhaps if there is a control module for the injectors then it is not getting power?

Could be a faulty idle air control valve. The computer controls idle speed by how much air gets into the intake thru the valve.I am assuming the check engine light is not on.

Well it could. Or something as simple as the cig lighter fuse is blown.Do you have spark to the plugs ?

check and see if you have an emergency shut off in the trunk. it will be on either side of the finder wall. it is there in case you get in a accident. the button pops up. make sure the button is in all the way. that shut off might be your problem.

I would guess you have to go back over your workwith regards to the timing chain & cam gear settingsIf your at a professional shop, they can look at various data,to get an idea if timing is an issue since that work was justdone

Its about 25-30 steps from start to finish, but it includes removing the oil pan. I would rate it as moderate for a skill level. You would need the tools and equipment necessary to raise the car and support the engine with the motor mounts disconnected.

Adjust your TV cable by the trottle cable. Had same problem, changed fluid and filter then wouldnt shift. adjusted the cable, shifts great now.

try Ultra Lube spray from Lowes. spray tracking liberally and use terry cloth to clean excess fluid. this spray not only lubricates 4x better than wd-40 but give life to rubber tracking as well.

Best to scann or reset but good to check what is going on.

MOST GM;S HAVE A FUSE PANEL ON THE SIDE OF THE DASH AND ANOTHER UNDER THE HOOD, THERE MAY BE A RELAY UNDER THE HOOD ALSO, IF THEY ARE GOOD GET A TEST LIGHT AND CONNECT TO POWER WIRE FOR THE HORN AND GROUND, GET SOMEONE TO PUSH THE HORN BUTTON DOWN DOES THE LIGHT COME ON, IF IT DOES THEN THE POWER SUPPLY IS GOOD, THE HORN MAY BE DEFECTIVE.

Classic bad ground to the fuel pump...Mine did it untill I hard wired it to a switch with a power light. Car stalls light out I throw the switch and im in control but remember to shut it off or your battery will be dead lol.

is ur temp gauge on hot?

there is no difference at all. they both will come back to the same thing, just something goofy that gm computers throw

your fuel pump could be getting hot and loosing pressure the way to find out if this is wrong is take it to a garage and have them to take a pressure test of the fuel pump, this might be your problem, you could have also got some bad gas, take and run you a bottle of stp gas treatment to see if it helps one of these most definitely your problem.hope this helps
