If your freon gas leaks out, that's what will happen. Have it pressure tested and then "re-charged" if it's low. Some garages put in a dye so if it leaks again, they can trace it.

Both key fobs and the trunk button inthe glove box

First thing to do is check the fuse panel and make certain the fuse to the pwr trunk release is not blown.

Secondly, open the trunk with the key and verify that the trunk latch hoop and surrounding area are clean and free of debris.

Good Luck

Easiest way is with a decent scan tool. Probably can command it on, or at least see if the pcm is commanding it on, which would indicate a wiring, relay, or motor problem. If you visit a reputable independant garage, inform them up front that you wish to repair the problem yourself, and offer to pay them to diagnose it, (with their very costly scanner, and database) most guys will help you out.

That's your resistor that's burned up under the connector. Get a new one and ask if they have the pigtail to go with it. You must have had an untrained mechanic.

Need to replace heater motor

Pretty typical for our generation of Bonneville (mine's a 2005 GXP). There are at least two different fans for our generation of Bonneville.
Remove the panel under the passenger side dash; I recall two small screws.
There may be a couple wires to unplug from this panel.
The blower motor is located right above the passenger toes.
Unplug the three wire plug.
Remove a small rubber hose. It has one right angle bend. It's about the size and length of a big thumb.
Remove 3 small screws on the fan, and the fan comes out.
Here's my new one: zeevert_33.jpg The Hole under the passenger dash. Insert blower here: zeevert_34.jpg

Good Luck...

How do you reset the change oil light

I don't remember the exact sequence to reset the oil life digital panel. It was in my owner's manual however. With te engine off I used to pump the gas and /or brake in a given sequence. I finally wrote it down and put it in the glovebox. That was a long time ago.

I have a 2002 Bonneville.

I doubt it, all the windows should work off the same fuse. I would be more inclined to think it might be a wiring problem, a broken wire or a connector come loose. Check the wiring that runs from the door pillar into the door and try trace the wiring back to where the rear harness connects to the front harness.

if you have fluid that is only leaking from the abs unit and the brake lines are all tight and not leaking at the unit then you have an abs unit leak and it will have to be replaced and bleed as well as the entire system should be bled to get all the air out.the unit may have to be bled by the use of a scan tool with the capablility to bleed the unit electronically

Has been skipping during acceleration and now its

I would get it to a repair shop soon

I would encourge everyone to work on
their own vehicles, but the amount of
possible issues you may have, and
the damage to the converters, if not
already done, you need to have ALL
problems whatever they are resolved

Only a good shop that uses the test
equipment to it's full potential, will
solve your problems

No diagram for the serpintine

What I will do is go to your local auto parts store like AutoZone, Advance, or PepBoys and look in the automotive repair books and look to see if you can take a pic or buying the book will be very helpful in the long run if you should have anymore trouble.

Low beam headlights do not work, high beam

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Check for the fuses and relays, located in the Engine/ Driving Compartment.. The fuse/relay for the Headlights will be marked on the casing of the fuse holder. You have to locate that fuse and have to replace it in case of bad/ faulty. Also do make sure, that the Switch that performs the High/Low beam operation is properly working. Worst case scenario would be the bad filament/ projection tube usually called bulb/ beam.

Concerned.

I have a component located in the rear underbody

If you have one on both sides it's a trailing arm. There is only 1 sway bar on rear, but it attaches on both sides of car. Regardless it's probably just a bushing and have a competent shop look at it for you. They're not that expensive to repair.

How do I get the batterie out my 2002 pontiac 4

The battery in a my bonneville ssei is under the back seat on the passenger side. Being careful to not have dirty hands I pulled up on the seat bottom bencha and it popped up and i repeated the same on the rh side. After removing the bench, napa had the best price on the "special" battery as it has vent tubes to attach to it to carry the fumes and such thru the floorboard tothe bottom of the car. I had to call napa corporate as the web site nor the store had the special battery part #. Mine was in great condition just worn out.. Nice idea but becareful you do not get residue on the trim or seats,do not waste time trying to fit another group battery in the space asit takes too much time.

I have a pontiac bonneville 2002 ssei and the oil

A number of things could impact this, a dirty oil filter, different type or weight, of oil or quite simply wear within the engine or oil pump (or combination of both)
First I'd get a gauge under the hood and get a true pressure check on the oil, perhaps the sending unit is failing. If it reads fine be certain the filter is clean. If still nothing it is within the engine, you can try to use a heavier oil that may increase your oil pressure.

I hope thi may have assisted you,
Tom

It takes a second or two for the oil to build pressure. If it's really cold out , then longer. Spattering is normal.
