Before you go tearing up the transmission. Check tp sensor (throttle position sensor). Keep in mind transmissions also have electronic parts that govern shift patterns . Signals sent to the truck's computer from sensors govern when it shifts. I would check sensors and wiring to those sensors first before tinkering with a transmission.

You have to adjust the sifter rod that's in the engine compartment next the steering column .

Flush the system and look for contaminants. If there is a bleed on the proportioning valve, also flush there. If there are contaminants, your master may need to be replaced. If not, maybe the proportioning valve has failed again.

The only thing I know of, on a gasoline engine, that will bite you is secondary ignition voltage. What about your ignition coil? If the vehicle will run, raise the hood in the dark, look for fire/spark jumping around.

Black smoke when you red line it? this would be a leaking injector. Loading the engine with fuel.

How long since a tune-up? Are there any applicable trouble codes? If your saying, no spark at the spark plugs. Check the cap--rotor--spark plugs and wires, check the coil. Check primary voltage at the coil goes hot with key on.

If it starts and runs when you add gas manually then you have a fuel delivery problem. Check the fuel pump relay and check the fuel pressure if the relay is fine. You might also have someone turn the key in a quiet environment while you have your ear close to the gas tank area and see if you hear the fuel pump run.

Fill at side fill hole until fluid begins to run back out. Let it run until it stops, install plug and wipe up excess. If fully drained, usually holds less than 3 liters.

Do you know anything about wiring and newer door units? If you stay with your year, you could probably get power windows. If you want it all. You need schematics or your year and the year going in, you will also need a BCM for the year going in. and most of all You WILL need patience. Lots of wires to power up and cut and splice into. You buy the schematics years and BCM and post them, I will help you threw it. If you don't know, I wouldn't recommend doing this for your first time. You can waste a lot of money and still have a non working doors.

Did you check fuse and or relay?

Use a shop vac and suck it all clean, the entire area even down every port, and next time blow the engine clean with compressed air or even a water hose before you begine
