You will need a torx wrench to be able to replace your headlights. There is bracket that hold your headlights on. Unscrew the 4 screws (2 on the bottom and 2 on the top) of the bracket and pull the bracket off. Disconnect the wires from the old bulb.
Once you get the new bulb screwed in make sure to check the level located on the bracket is at it's optimal position.

See if it is running on codes by hooking it up to a diagnostic machine. It may be something very minuscule and simple to fix which is causes your SEL to come on.

It is a common issue with Camaro/Firebirds for the coolant sensor to go bad.
You will need to replace it. A new sensor can be found at most retail automotive parts stores.

QUICK FIX TRICKS
1st trick, Try a spare key that is newer or used less. The pins wear down with use and so do the keys causing the security to fail.
2nd trick, (if not starting) turn the key forward 2 clicks till right before it would normally start, leave like that for 10 minutes. ( no less ) After 10 minutes, turn key back then forward and your car might start. I did this in my regal for more than a year. If its shutting down while running, I'm sorry I have no quick fix...
CHEAP FIX: Bypass the chip in your key. This is temporary, but effective until the TDM (theft deterrent module) in the dash poops out. Then you're kinda screwed. I was told that these types of key security systems have a 7-10 year life span. Sucks for us. This link explains the "Key Issue" pretty well.

If you're gonna tear your car apart anyway, just do this next fix and bypass it all together. Its more money, less work, and a PERMANENT fix. Up to you tho.

NEVER WORRY AGAIN FIX: Bypass the whole VATS/Passlock/passkey I or passkey II system entirely. Literally take it out, and throw it away. I just did this in my Regal. Took about an hour. It took longer to find the solution than it did to fix the problem. They sell a unit for 200 bucks to totally bypass this system FOREVER. life time-money back and all that. Finally did this in my car. Well worth the 200 if you've looked into getting this replaced... It can cost anywhere from 600-1000 bucks. If you do buy this, please purchase it thru this link.

The water pump is mounted on the front of the engine, but this job may be to big for you to perorm if your not able to identify it easily. It looks like this;

Hello: YOU HAVE TO TURN IT OFF WITH A SCAN TOOL. You can go to Auto Zone, Advance Auto, or O'Riely and they probably won't charge you to do it.

could be a short to ground in the wiring circuit...

Have you changed your spark plugs and wires?

It is located in the fuel tank, which must be dropped from under the vehicle to be serviced.
