there are 6 bolts connecting the trany to the engine. They all should be easy to take out. Are you talking about the three nuts that are used to bolt the trany torque converter to the flexplate? If so, rotate the flexplate to reach the other 2 nuts.

That only comes on if there is a parking brake switch issue or the mast cylinder has an issue independent of the ABS.

If you go to a good key cutting service, they can use a quick forming epoxy resin that the squirt in the lock to get the required shape of your key, the then can make you a key from that hardened form, if you do not want to pay dealer prices, but you will require your proof of ownership & valid paperwork for the vehicle & proof of ID before touching the vehicle, but your nearest ford dealers should be able to locate your required key & order it for you with the Vin/chassis number & also the proof of ownership & valid vehicle documents...

4) Fourth exists on a Hi-Top Coversion inside upper doors next to Dvd/Vcr/Tv compartments

Had the same issue with our 1999 chevy astro van, would crank but would not start. It had been raining and windshield had a leak, after 2 days of no rain it started. Pulled codes and was the Security system in the ignition switch. Hope this helps.

I don't know what's causing the jump but, to reset the light you use an OBDII scan tool. Some parts stores like Autozone and Advance will read the codes for you for free. You could ask them to reset it after he reads them.

Considering the history I suggest the next step should be to take a look inside the fuel tank. It is far from unknown for rags, plastic bags and suchlike to find a way inside and water ingress can also be a problem. Once you can be assured of a consistent fuel supply the task of diagnosis can go forward. It is important to try and locate the problem while the problem actually exists because some electrical and mechanical faults do not leave a trail. A temporary tell-tale light could be fitted to the fuel pump supply for instance, as could a fuel pressure gauge. These things over time will provide clues toward finding the fault. Your mechanic friend could show you how to check the spark for yourself or the injector pulse and lend you the tools... Something that happens so rarely and seemingly randomly is likely to have an underlying pattern; length of journey, weather, place you bought fuel, parked on a hill and so forth. Finding the pattern can be invaluable. Good luck!

Before you replace the injectors have them do an injector balance test. Normally wet weather does not effect fuel system. Sounds more like you have a crank or cam sensor acting up.

How do we know how you have it wired ? You have power and grounds where they belong . Are the B+ wires hot - battery voltage ? What Radio are you replacing ? Base - uplevel ? Did the factory radio have speed compensated volume control . Did it have rear radio control ? It should have 2 B+ power feeds .

If the light is on there are code stored ! Not in the PCM/ECM engine computer . In the BCM , do you know what that is ? body control module ! Need a factory scan tool or equivalent to check ! The right fix could be cheaper then ruining your vehicle . Chopping up wiring harnesses . Their are by pass module , don't know how much they are . It may or may not fix the problem . Pulling the code and doing the diagnostics is still the best solution .
