How can I reverse oxidation on my paint?
Google it. Its a process. Here is an example:

99 tahoe read code p0300 what does that mean
Po300 is a multiple random misfire there several things that cause this GM had an issue with the coil wire arcing to the transmission dipstick tube the new routing is to go over the plugs and remain on the inside of tube (old way was behind) USE a new wire. #2 dirty fuel (water contamination) As for the p1345 code this could be caused by ignition arcing inside Distributor Cap I would suggest replacing cap and rotor Clear codes This code will set once engine has gone over 1000 rpm's it updates every time to get spark advance correct if sets again distributor has moved this can be reset with a gm specific software scanner under camshaft offset specs 0 degrees to +4 max.
How to remove the cylinder head on a 1999 5.7 Tahoe
#1 first time ever the BEST suggestion Sent everyone away for the weekend unplug the stereo turn phone off. #2 take good pictures of both sides of the car engine compartment. borrow some fingernail polish several colors. drain coolant.disconnect battery Now lets start #1 remove air cleaner assemble there are 3 10mm nuts that hold it down unplug maf sensor and iat sensor and remove single wing nut on throttle body from drivers side remove main harness from bottom of fuse box 7mm bolt as you remove this harness taking it over the engine remove connectors and paint so you know where they go. Remove the four bolts that hold down a/c compressor and swing it out of the way DO NOT TAKE LINES OFF they will discharge the system From the front side take out the 3 upper bolts and 2 lower bolts and one behind power steering pump just slide it forward to get to the front intake bolt . remove upper radiator hose and heater and bypass hoses. remove alternator. remove bracket that alt sits on a hidden bolt behind tensioner so remove it first. now unscrew outer throttle cable this one is the cruise control and remove inner cable but holding throttle plate open with hand in bore it has a round lead ball on it. take mounting brackets off 3 nuts and 1 stud remember how this goes together. now remove rear mount holder and place them over master cylinder area.remove EGR pipe in front of manifold 7/8 wrench in the center where you removed the injector wiring connector rectangular plug there are to 8mm nuts that hold down the fuel lines remove nuts and retainer plate DO NOT remove lines yet follow those lines back and remove both lines 16mm nuts and in the center a 10mm bolt now remove lines as a assemble. Now you can see the flat distributor cap remove cap 20 torx with cap off rotate engine so rotor points at twelve straight towards radiator. Beer break After leaving ten cans all over yard remove distributor hold down bolt THIS PART IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THERE IS NOT TIMING ADJUSTMENT FOR THIS ENGINE. as the distib come up the shaft rotates place a dot of polish to index the installation. now remove the intake bolts 8 bolts 13mm with slight pressure under a corner it should pop up for removal. Now jack up and support car remove the 3 15 mm nuts or 9/16 off each manifold get flanges clear drop back down now remove spark plugs then exhaust manifold bolts 6 per side 15mm If you can get the exhaust manifolds out great most of the time they don't . remove valve covers DO NOT REMOVE ROCKER ARMS remove the inner head bolts 9 bolts 5/8 heads (7 long bolt 2 short ) and the 8 lower bolts on the back of the head are the ground cables to the computer one per side some also has a braided cable and a fuel line retainer clip. once these are removed place a small piece of pipe in the intake port and pull they are on there but should come easy once lifted up a little remove push rods these can go in a pile they all are the same length. either send heads out for pressure test and surfacing or find that the gaskets are bad. Cleaning DO NOT SMOKE the intake valley and block head gasket surface must be clean of gasket material suggest kerosene and a soft bristle brush and sand paper use a tap 7/16 by 14 thread chase bolt holes so the bolts turn easy during installation. once this is done drain engine oil and install a new filter.. clean valve covers and intake manifold separate plastic top from bottom clean inside and replace gaskets torque to specs. Once heads are back clean all mounting holes for even torque. buy new head bolts they have thread sealer on them so coolant can't wick up bolts and leak into engine. now install the heads do not worry about the push rods yet . FOLLOW A REPAIR MANUEL FOR TORQUE SEQUENCE. once done install push rods and seat into lifter cup remove nut counting the turns to get rocker arm over rod and return to that setting they all will be different number of turns. Now reassemble in reverse order. Many other Questions e-mail

Set timing on 5.7 lt 99 tahoe
The timing is computer controlled but the camshaft phase can be checked with a scanner called camshaft sensor offset.
Good fuel pressure
check for blocked injector tips or no signal from the ECM check all wiring and connections.
Battery Keeps Draining
If the battery discharges by leaving it shut off you can rule out the belt or the battery terminals. The battery is new so it shouldnt be bad, and you have had it tested along with the alternator so both of those should be ruled out as not being problematic. It sounds like you have a massive parasitic drain in your electrical system. Ultimately something is closing the loop between the + and the (-) sides of your battery via your extensive electrical system. Granted, finding the source of the problem will be headache lol. Hope this helps
Wont start
The symptoms are a little vague to help you well. I know that you have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe. The engine will crank but won't start. There is spark and you have double checked the timing. I don't know what you mean "The coolant pushes out hard". It sounds like you are saying that the head gasket has failed and when you crank the engine over, coolant is pushed out of the radiator. Primarily an engine needs fuel and spark, to run. Would you write back with more details. How is the fuel pressure? Did I interpret the coolant description correctly? If I did then I think we both know that needs to be taken care of first. I hope that helps, please write back with any updates or new questions, good luck.
No brake lights
If the bulbs are good, it could be the brake light switch, or the turn signal switch. The third brake light bypasses the turn signal switch.
Passingerg door problelm opening from inside
You probably broke the handle. I've had to replace the the handle on my '96 suburban several times. The handles give out after awhile. The are made of cheap aluminum pot metal. You can get a whole handle unit for I think around $20 online or at a local parts house. The take down of the door panel is fairly easy if you are handy with a screw driver and have a bit of finesse. I even took apart the two units to save the blue interior part so that I kept the original matching color. You'll start noticing the opening of the door getting harder and harder until one day you can't get it open, and then you will have to change it .
