common problem on these is that fuel pump ck valve is going bad entire pump needs replaced and yes it's inside the fuel tank so if not 100% experienced with dealing with fuel tanks hire an expert remember gas is explosive and it only takes a little spark to set it off

If washer solution caused the rear hatch security sensor to short out, you should have a blown fuse on your anti-theft system. Check your fuse panel for blown fuses and replace them as necessary.

run fault codes and check for faulty cam/crank position sensor. This is indicated by what you have said. Check battery terminals are clean and tight and check engine immobiliser

I would check the headlight fuse. Or you may have a bad headlight switch.

Hopefully they put a receiver dryer when they changed the compressor. If so you may just be out of Freon. If the a.c. hoses were not changed they can leak too.

Run fault codes check as it may be a failed cam/crank position sensor that will not allow it to start or some other faulty sensor that is the problem. Do not waste money until you know what you have to replace

An EGR that is stuck opencan very well cause the symptom you are decribing, including surging at idle and poor acceleration.

Failure of GM EGR Valves is quite rare.
A common problem on the 4.3L Vortec engines is failure of the Central Multiport Injection Assembly located between the plastic upper intake plenum and the lower intake manifold.

Sometimes failure of injector lines and/or the fuel pressure regulator (Part of the MFI Assembly) will cause fuel to spill into the upper plenum area. This can dislodge carbon deposits in the upper plenum which then get stuck in the EGR Valve and cause the symptoms that you are describing. The EGR Valve can be removed and cleaned. Replacement is not usually necessary.
Ido recommend replacement of the injector assembly however.

if its temporary no if its gonna be on for awhile maybe stay with same size tires on same axle. if there offset can strip gearing in rear end or cause front end to go bad for alignment. you can put any size on there just might effect the accuracy of speedo. hope this helps

Sounds like you have a bad ignition switch. Not the key cylinder, the electrical switch.

Tune up,fuel filter,air filter.

Does it turn on the AC Compressor?Does it change the HEAT from Hot To Cold?
