Did you by chance have the intake gaskets done or have the distributor out for any reason? I replaced the intake gaskets on my 99 Tahoe and then I had the same problem. I do not have the fancy GM TECH 2 scan tool so two hours later problem was solved. The distributor MUST be within 2 degrees of TDC or it will act the way yours is.

It could be a fuse or a bulb. Do the 4 way flasher/hazard lights work? If not, it could also be caused by a faulty multifunction switch. On some early 2000s models there was a recall. https://recalls.gm.com/#/ GM RECALL CENTER

I would question crank sensor they normally put management light on check breather pipes and gaskets first if it is the sensor it's about an hours labour plus price of the part good luck.

They don't really make a noise until they completely snap.Then it's a terrible noise when you try to start it. All the ones I have seen break around the bolt pattern on the block.

Your transmission is about to die ( it's just old and tired). Time for a rebuild or get a replacement from the salvage yard.

No, it has the right oil in it. New and rebuilt compressor come with the right oil and the right amount. If it looks like some has leaked out, don't fret about it. As your system already has some in it. But if the plugs are off or missing, I would add about 2 OZ of oil. GM is a medium grade oil.

Gasoline Engines

1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Unfasten the upper fan shroud bolts and remove the upper fan shroud.
3. If equipped, remove the upper panel fasteners and the panel.
4. If equipped, remove the upper insulators and brackets.
5. Disconnect the radiator upper and lower hoses and, if applicable, the transmission coolant lines.
6. Remove the coolant recovery system line, if so equipped.
7. Remove the oil coolant lines, if equipped.
8. Remove the lower fan shroud bolts and the lower fan shroud.
9. Remove radiator from the lower brackets and insulators.

Have your pickup unit inside fuel tank checked. Sometimes the rubber lines that connects the fuel pump to pickup tube deteriorates. When fuel level gets below the connection, the system will draw air in and the sputtering will occur. Also check the charcoal cannister and return lines for clogging.

clean it very good an if its smooth then just put it back on clean an clamp it good. other wise : get some automotive high temp silicon 5.00 an spread a tiny bit on both surfaces an let set 5 min an don't clamp it till 24 hrs later . so it has to sit . or just screw it an clamp it an it will be some what sealed good nuff.

This is a very commin issue. Go to this site and read up on it. they have a good fix and its about 200 bucks less then taking it somewhere

The short answer is no. The truck uses a circuit breaker for both power windows instead of a fuse. You would need to check for power at the circuit breaker and then at the master switch in the driver's door.
