You have a leaking heater core inside the dash. You will need to remove the dash from the truck and replace the offending part. If you go to this LINK you will find full instructions with diagrams from the factory manuals.

under rail on drivers side

At the throttle body

replace the relay that powers makes the bulbs fliker

You description was very good, I need to ask for a specific.

When you turn to the left, the wheel is stiff like the engine is off or does it turn smoothly but the vehicle doesn't turn or seem to respond.

I'm trying to rule out broken mounts,

Also, if the wheel is all the way to the right, is it difficult turning back to the left the whole way, or half way. See where I'm going.?

You are dealing with a disconnection.When the PCM goes to 0 vlts.Go under the driver seat wiggle that area. There is a TSB that describes this problem this may not pertain to you,Your dealing with a module that disconnects TSB 03-08- 50-014A.This area is part if the key fob alarm

There should be 12 volts on the orange wire at the bulbs. The switch controls the ground side of the circuit. There should be 12 volts on the blue w/white wire at the switch. The switch will ground that wire and complete the circuit and the cargo lights will turn on. to check the switch you would unplug it and check for continuity between the pins that the blue w/wire wire and black wire go to. This code sets when the indicated o2 sensor rich / lean transitions are less than the specified amount that the pcm wants to see. You need to determine if these sensors are staying lean, (possible vacuum leak,weak fuel pump for example) or rich(faulty map or mass airflow signal, or leaky injector for example) Either code can be a faulty sensor also,but there are many other things to consider before throwing parts at it. Your first challenge , is using the data stream to see what the sensors are telling you, and then to determine what is causing this. This is what drives real mechanics up the wall, people go to the auto parts store, get codes read for free, replace o2 sensors,and it turns out to be a vacuum leak. Not sure, but I've heard a bad hazard switch can cause strange problems.Also, if your truck has a body control module that controls interior and lights, that may be your problem, too. Good luck.

These trucks are well known for faulty instrument clusters.There is a recall on them aslong as the vehicle is not over 7 years old or have over 70,000 miles on it.

The best answer would be call a locksmith. I've broke the wing or back window. The cheapest to repair.

Did you reset it after you changed oil?

recheck the resistor. Just cause it isnt very old dosent mean it didnt go bad. Things arent made like they used to be.
