More information is needed. This could be anything from a broken engine mounting to a worn driveshaft or defective gearbox bearing or even a sticking brake.
Please describe where the noise comes from, how long does it last, is it quiet, is it noisy, what kind of knocking, metal against metal or wood against metal etc etc....

you might have a broken eng or trans, mount......if all mounts ok your eng. is missing on one or more cylenders,

Hi Jim, The Exhaust Gas Recycle valve is usually mounted on a tappet cover and is connected to the the intake manifold. It has the function of recycling the fumes from the sump and burning them in the combustion chamber. Regards John

check your fuses under the hood on the driver side usually the cigar fuse goes out and the obd is on the same fuse

should be fine as long as the gage goes up and down and you get heat it should be fine make sure you consider the outside temp. as the engine starts it will heat up get really hot the the thermostate opens and the gage will fall and should but not always stay low it could just be the ip gage.

It sounds to me like your valve seals are leaking. There are seals on the valve stem to keep oil from running down them into the engine. Over time and with heat they dry out and start letting oil through.The parts are cheap but the repair is a PITA because it requires special tools. Just keep an eye on the oil level and you should be fine.

Was there any letters in front of those codes? That usually signifies the general area where the problem is coming from but without the letter in front of those numbers, there is no way to tell what the codes are for. Also we need the engine type to help narrow it down as well.
