Possibly turning the key while engine was running or by hitting something or by tightening bolts to much where is the Crack around the bolts to check install the starter and use the shims and torque to specifications the Crack also could be for a missing shim and cranking while running

No, oil is fouling from piston rings leaking a little. Clean it up or install new one. Pull and check after a few days . if its real oily again then you have a problem if not your ok. this is really a normal condition on old plugs not changed. you only have one cyl doing it so you should be ok

Head lights have a reed switch built into the unit. if a gear is stripped / missing a tooth the headlights will continue to run. You can replace the gears for around $50.00 for a set. I would go with the , metal gears for the few dollars more, especially in cold climates where there is snow.

have you tried checking the map sensor this can sometimes cause the engine to run oddly. also check for good spark check wires when its pitch black out check for wire arching. also check fuel pressure with a pressure guage.make sure cap and rotor are clean of deposits. keep searching and you will find the weak link.

Typically. there is a build up in the exhaust cross over port that is centered front to back and passes directly under the choke and carb. Be sure the valve at the end of the right (usually) exhaust manifold, is free and working.

The EGR valve is subject to problems from exhaust particles, that sometimes jamb it open.

I did mine about 3 year ago, C4 headlights are electric motor driven. Clean the contacts, if they are clean, you will have to replace the gears, it's really not hard, just be sure to clean everything as you re- assemble the motor drive. I used synthetic grease. The drive can be unscrewed from the housing and then changing the gears is easy. Most gear sets have directions with them. I got mine from Corvette Central. (about 50 for the set, replace both gears) Be sure to remove any debris.

Remove the tail lights, then remove the fasteners, from under the car, that hold on the rear cover. Look at a site that has replacement covers and you can see the mounting locations.
