The ignition key will not turn to the off position
Hi! This happens to any individual. The cause is that the ignition hole is kinda corroded resulting to stuck up switch. The cure is a wd40. The wd40 has a thin tube that can fit inside the ignition, spray it and leave it for atleast 10mins. to penetrate. Try to move it carefully and you'll notice a smooth turning of the ignition. Hope this helps and have a good one!

91 s10 wishield wipers don't work fuses are ok
It is possibly your wiper switch. The one one the steering column. You can use a test light to check and see if your getting power to the wiper motor when depressing the wiper switch. If you are not getting power when you depress the switch it is either the wiring or the switch.Hope this helps.Good luck.
I just did a rear brake service with new brake
If you put it all together correctly your problem may be that you did not adjust the brakes after you installed them. You need to turn the adjusting wheel till the brakes shoes just start to drag against the drum.Usually using a brake tool with the wheel on.

To begin with do some testing. You can have a code scan done at most major parts stores free. You can also do individual component testing using a digital multi-meter and a haynes or chiltons manual for a guide.
(book is about $20) Sounds like possibly a throttle position sensor, or MAP sensor but that's only a guess and if I was working on it I would ALWAYS test before buying anything...with computerized systems it is far too easy to make a mistake if you don't.
The fitting on the trans is likely a vent tube fitting and really should not have a vacuum line attached. (just a hose to nowhere to keep water out)
good luck
How do I access THE repair code for 1990 chevy
If you can afford around 20 dollars US, a Haynes manual for your truck would be a good investment. It will show you how to get your computer to "flash" the codes on your check engine light. The manual will also guide you through repair procedures. The code access is simple once you understand it. Way, Way better to have the book to help you out.The manual will also tell you witch number of flashes equals which malfunction.
Good Luck !!!!!!!!
