Engine rotates but won't start
Here are a few things you can try to debug the no spark issue. I hope these help you out.
1. Remove the distributor cap and crank the car. If the rotor turns you're ok. If it doesn't turn then that's you're problem and you will probably need to change a timing belt/chain.
2. Check the spark from the ignition coil by pulling the coil wire from the center of the distributor. Use an alligator clip to attach a short wire to the coil wire contact. Bare the other end of this short wire and set it up so it's sitting very close to the engine block. Turn off the lights and try to start the car. You should see a spark jump from this wire to the block. If you don't see a spark it's likely your ignition module or ignition coil is bad.
3. If you have a spark maybe it's not getting to the plugs. You may need to replace the distributor cap and rotor. You can test if the plugs are sparking by pulling one, re-attaching the spark plug wire and seeing if you get a spark when you try to start the engine in the dark. Please note, the metal threads of the spark plug need to be shorted to the engine block to complete the circuit during this test.

No oil to back of motor 1992 dodge caravan
You either have a blocked oil line or a blown head gasket blocking the oil line. Check the oil for any signs of white residue. This is a sign of a headgasket leak or break up. Good luck!

The radiator fan does
Hi!!
Apply 12v current straight to fan from battery to test fan motor, if it starts, then check the coolant temp. sensor, usually on or near thermostat housing. Also check for broken wires and loose connections.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to change this post!!

When driving the speedometer needle jumps all over
replace the speed sensor on the passenger axle next to the transmission. It is held in place with a ten millimeter bolt.re-installed it and works perfect again. This very same thing was happening to my 92 dodge caravan two days ago.went down bought a new sensor, took the gear off the old one and popped it on the new sensor, re-installed it, works perfect again. Let me know if this does the trick. Good Luck. Ps make sure to get the same two or three prong sensor. Was about a $27 fix.

Inner spline will not disengage from the diff on
Hi, its a tough one, but it will come out. try to use a pry bar with a slightly bent tip, you miHT have to turn axle till one of the "bells"is in a reachable place to put the tip between the axle and the trans case. prybar should have its length towards rear of car, maybe add a 3 to four foot pipe over it to add leverage. if that fails, then you have to remove the passenger axle, using a railroad spike or old 1/2 drive extension, you can drive out the driver side axle from the passenger side axle housing.

I connected the wrong battery cables in my car
Hi!!
Check the Alt. Fuse in the engine compartment fuse box, if Ok, take vehicle to an AutoZone or Checkers store and have them check your charging system,
I think the battery is toasted and/or the alternator regulator is not working properly. If the alternator and battery test fine, then your problem could be a broken, burned out or loose wire.
Don't forget to rate this post!! Good Luck!!

How to replace ignition
There are a couple of different scenarios if I remember correctly. If you have a key that will turn the ignition cylinder then it will be easy. Follow these steps.
1. Disconnect Battery
2. Remove the plastic shroud around the steering column
3. Insert key and turn to the accessory position
4. Insert a small ice pick into the retainer hole( it is usually on either the top or bottom of cylinder ) and then pull on ignition at same time
If you do not have an existing key then you will need to drill the wafers out of the ignition in order to get it to turn to the accessory position. Just be careful not to drill too deep so as not to damage the ignition housing. If you need a replacement ignition for your caravan go

Transmission won't shift when engine heats up
Dear Madam or Sir,
if the problem has an electrical cause, the oil temperature sensor is defective, this should be checked first.
If the sensor is working good, there is a mechanical problem with your transmission due to worn bushes and / or gaskets. The viscosity of the oil is decreasing while heating up, if there is a worn gasket the shift pressure drops and the transmission won´t shift.

HAVE 4 DTC'S.DO I HAVE TO REPLACE SENSORS
If you will ask ther others mostly on car company they 'll sey replace . I guess you' ll just have to look at the wiring and repair the damage of the circuit . now the alternator check the rotor coil and the bushing . It looks like your car is made in different models you can replace the spare parts if it is not anymore working . but first try to do atemp on fixing them . since all the damage is only wirings try to use tester amplepier. this one is use for circuit problem . remember that black is for positive and red is for negative . if first check goes to the negatvi fix . and if the tester wont work on the circuit of the spare part replace the spare part.

Dodge Caravan 1992 - Transmission Mount- Where to
There is no transmission mount, per se. The engine and transmission are bolted together as a unit, cross-wise, and that unit is what it mounted.
I just went outside and looked at my 1996 Grand Caravan, and my 1995 Plymouth voyager.
Both had one mount on the passenger side above the water pump, one mount on the front of the engine pretty low, and one on the end of the engine, under the battery.

NO POWER WHEN ACCELERATING, STALLS OUT , TROUBLE
Replace the fuel filter on van and check the spark plugs for a fouling condition. If the van in question has not been serviced in a while you might think of doing it to correct your problems. Check all the filters and replace spark plugs. Hope this will help you.
