Up my new cd player to factory wires i have no sound
It sounds like your speaker wires are touching each other. Was the factory radio an Infinity? They have an amp on each speaker and do not work with aftermarket stereos. Do you have power to the unit? I really need more info to be much help. Your best bet is to buy the radio end wire harness from stereo store, walmart, radio shack or dealer if you didnt cut the truck end off. They only @ $10. Then it is so fast & easy you will never cut the harness out again. Get back to me if you still need help. Good luck and I hope this helped you.
When truck has been sitting
2 things to check. Coolant temperature sensor, ( located to left of AC compressor) and air temperature sensor (located in intake behind alternator) I'd be leaning toward air temperature sensor first.
1995 Dodge Ram 1500 starter
You said it's a new start that was tested thoroughly, but just wanted to point out that if the drive
mechanism is damaged or hung up, the motor may spin but not crank
the engine.
The drive gear should move
out when the starter starts to spin, if it's locked
up or turns freely either way, the drive is bad and needs to be
replaced.
The other possibility is that the flywheel has some broken or damaged
teeth that are preventing the starter from engaging. It may sound far fetched but there are really only a couple of reasons why the flywheel wouldn't be spinning, as a starter has a LOT of torque and shouldn't have any problem at all moving the flywheel.
My 95 ram stalls after
fuel pressure is to be at 35 to 45 psi .and has to be constant, its the only thing that will do it the MAP no it wont, the TPS no ,EGR no, IAC no, you can change fuel filter first, see if that helps other than that its a fuel pump, because it start up fine it a fuel problem, your OBD1 it doesnt store a code,
My headlights won't turn on
when you say brights do you mean the sidelights or the dip lights ,if dip lights try changing the stalk switch or at least testing it with a meter to see if it has a feed out when moved backwards and forewards
Have a 95 Dodge Ram
Hi, try changing your TPS (throttle positioning sensor) its located on the intake area (look where the throttle cable hooks to the engine)
There is a possibility of a fuel pressure regulator problem, also a faulty Idle Air Control motor (IAC) could cause the problem.
