2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Truck - Page 5 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I need the belt diagram for a 2004 3500 dodge
If no belt routing diagram on the hood or the radiator core support bracket, it's grooved part of the belt on grooved pulleys, slick pulleys on the slick side of the belt and 3/4 around the crankshaft pulley. Sounds strange but if you follow this rule of thumb, you can install any belt, Good luck, Gary
My 2004 dodge ram 3500 deisel only blows on high
Probably just the a/c resistor which is a big black block thing just
under the passenger dash. You dont need to remove the dash just crane
your head underneath and you will see it. Mine went and i got another
off Amazon for about $30. Apparently they tend to go every so often.
The one give-away is that it only works on high. Good luck!
ABS and brake light on
When the abs light appears, the brakes reset to regular brakes, with out the anti lock,If for sure the brake liners are good, and the rotors, then it is a bad sensor on one of the wheels,a scanner has to be hooked up to find the correct sensor,on witch wheel is the problem.
WHEN I TURN THE WHEEL EITHER WAY THERE IS
hi this sounds like you might either have to top up the power steering fluid in the bottle, or you might have a faulty pump, have you noticed any drops of oil when you have driven it and parked up? you might have to tighten the supply hose to the pump itself it that is the case, they have a banjo washer that sometimes works its way loose and might just need nipping up then just refill the bottle again.hope this helps
2004 dodge p0628 code does not start
those year trucks have bad lift pumps on the diesel engine. it is located near the fuel filter. they are also known for starving the injecter pump for lubrication oil due to the pumps low capacity. it is now recomended that an in the tank pump change over kit be installed
Throttle shuts off, sometimes at road speed
have you changed fuel filter recently if not i would start their there my also be more then 1 there maybe one they call water separator also look see if there is some place it could be drawing Air in fuel sys. PS. how clean is air filter?
Oil changes
You should check your owners manual for this information under severe service use. My gut reaction is 4000 is way too many miles if you expect to use this vehicle long term.
The oil may appear clean, the addatives that help the oil to lubricate and preserve your engine are more than likely consumed by 4000 miles.
I have a 04 dodge 3500 auto 5.9 cummins turbo,
On the passenger side of the vehicle across form the battery box, in the front right side of the engine. The easiest way to get to it is to remove the intake tube from the air cleaner, on the right and down from the airbox.
