I have a 97 dodge ram, the security system arms
A 97 dodge ram does not have an alarm system available from the factory. I would suggest you bring the vehicle to the aftermarket installer and have them repair the faulty unit.

I have a 1988 dodge d100 that has trouble starting when cold
if it has a distributor cap it may have a hairline crack in it causing moisture to stop it from firing.Part outlets sell a plasticoat spray that you can spray on the distributor and seal it,causing the moisture to stay out/dry.You might want to try that, take a chance

No spark not getting fuel
You don't give an engine size but it sounds suspiciously like something along the lines of a pickup coil, reluctor, or possibly the computer itself. The computer will not fire the coil or the injectors if there is no signal from the pickup coil to synchronize them to.
