1990 Dodge Ram Questions & Answers
1990 d150 needs rear end.
I would stick to using a Dodge rear end as there may be sensors and other connecting items that may not be the same between major brands.....Someone at the salvage yard should be able to tell you what years would interchange with the 1990 you have. I would change out the whole rear end as it is relatively easy once you get the leaf spring hanger bolts undone.
Wont start
AFTER OPENING THE FUEL SYSTEM IT HAS TO BE BLEED. AIR WILL PREVENT IT FROM STARTING.THE LINES ARE PREFORMED BUT YOU CAN PUT THEM ON WRONG WITH SOME EFFORT.IF YOU REPLACED THESE ITEMS TO SOLVE A EXISTING PROBLEM CHECK THE GLOW PLUGS
Were is the crank sensor in a 1990 dodge ram
the crank sensor can be found on the passenger side
look where the bell housing meets the block
it looks like it is sandwiched between them
but it is not all you have to do is unhook the wire and remove the 2 bolts and lift it straight up and out
