My fuses keep poping
get your engie analized for a short in your electrical system. whatever fuses are popping you have a short or an overload in that area . adding boosters to your radio or new higher wattage stereo systems are common to this problem if so check for a higher output alternator.
1996 NEON ... YESTERDAY ON
There's multiple possibilities. Some of them are a partially clogged fuel filter, poor fuel pressure, a bad sensor or sensors, etc...
Have you checked/changed the filter? What's the fuel pressure?
You can access a simplified version of the trouble codes on this model - with the car off, turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off, and on again relatively quickly. The check engine light will blink out the codes. An example would be blink, pause, blink, blink. This would be code 12. Chilton's or Haynes books give you the code's meaning (that code means battery disconnect). These can at least give you a place to start.
Head gasket
Just remember how you took it apart, clean the mating surfaces and when down to metal, wipe with acetone or similar evaporative mineral solution (don't touch the mating surfaces after), install the new gasket and get the torques correct. Make sure you don't slop into the cylinders, have a vacuum and wood pick ready to clean **** out if you do.

I have a 1996 Dodge Neon Sport with a 2.0 DOHC. I need to replace
like the style ,parts more than the value of the car ,providing that the water ports havent rotted away then i take it the cam belt broke and the valves hit the pistons ,well the valves cost about 15/30 euros each depending on vehicle model here so it may pay you to buy a valve spring compressor and change them
Speedo works sometimes
These Neons have an issue with poor soldering on the instrument cluster board. Some people pull the board out and re-solder all the contacts themselves, but there are places on-line or on ebay where you can get one that's already been fixed. The replacement part is easy.
96 Neon idles a little too low it shuts off
This sound as if it may be the IAC or idle air control valve which is located just behind where the air intake hose attaches to the throttle body. This is a switch that tells the computer how fast the car should idle and adjust the air intake to keep the idle steady. If you go to one of the car part websites you can look up the IAC and see what it looks like for your particular vehicle. Autozone, Checker, Oreiley all have websites.
Ihave a dodge neon 1996 and i dont have power in
if the relay seems to be fine and all fuse are good, and jumping power to opperate the fuel pump at relay works, then there is a broken wire from the ECU to the fuel pump relay, or the ECU is shot.
Need to find heat sensor on 96 dodge neon
It is located on the left end of the cylinder head, next to and in front of the CMP sensor. There is no easy way to access this sensor. The Haynes Manual says to remove the CMP sensor to access this. To remove it with a socket you have to remove the battery and battery tray. When you put the new sensor in make sure you wrap the threads with Teflon Tape to help prevent leaks.
