Could be the brake switch (at the brake pedal) or the release switch( in the console)

There is no reset, if there is a problem then some part is defective in the security system. The car can be scanned to see what is causing the issue.

Check the owners manual for how to disarm the security system. They are designed to shut off the starter and fuel pump when the security system has been triggered to prevent theft.

Look for any damaged wiring to your primary emission control sensors. Appears you have lost you 5 volt supply to the ignition circuit. Any check engine lights on? Have you reset Computer? If not disconnect - battery terminal for 30mins or more.

Start by repeatedly squeezing all of the coolant hoses you can access. While doing this you should see bubbles coming up through the radiator cap opening. After doing this for awhile, top up the coolant and drive for a bit. After the car cools down you may want to repeat the process. Keep checking it for awhile as properly "burping" a coolant system can be a pain and take awhile. You know you're done when there is no more air at the top of the rad cap after driving (and letting it cool down)

Is the check engine light staying on, and have you checked fuel pressure with a gauge ?

check that a vacuum hose hasn't fallen of the inlet manifold.

you open one at a time. first one to water pump.

You need to get the OBD2 scan on the car to give you the codes. See if you can barrow one if not you will need to buy one. it will give you all the trouble codes for the car.

You may need to replace the box on top of transmission. . Its the shift control. . the rod hooks to the module..

are you referring to range sensor? speed sensor? input or output speed sensors? park neutral switch?

on the converter. 02 sensor. some have 4 of them. could be in front or behind.

these cars have a water pump in the front center of the engine and when it leaks cant see it couse coolant or water runs to the back of the engine between the heads thats one but did you change the thermostat and or radiator cap? try with that first but is a good chance that you have a water pump problem.

Sounds like it's over heating. Make sure it has plenty of coolant & fresh oil.. Try to get it checked out :)

it sounds like ur starter to me one way to find out for sure before u take it off is to jack up car and on the starter there is a battery cable (big post) ignition wire (small post) carefully stick a small screwdriver between the two making contact with both and nothing else. If starter is good it will turn over... but it really does sound as if the starter is bad from what you said

A blinking or flashing check engine light indicate misfiring. I suggest you check the components of your secondary ignition system especially if it worsens when it's damp.

is there any pause between flashes? you need a scan tool on an 02 vehicle for that kind of problem. codes for pcm are not single digit. so now it begs the question... how did it get in a flash mode? perhaps the allpar website is a good place to seek data. but you need to decide if it cranks but wont start? wont start, wont crank? or cranks, start -die allpar could have tsb data for you. or the public library, i look cars up on mitchell database there and get recalls/tsb's as well as pinpoint tests for codes.
