probably the brake pedal switch (mounted on the brake pedal lever) starting to fail. it releases the shift lever and controls the brake lights coming on. you will need to replace this. for now, turn the key in the ignition to the lock position (counter clockwise,) then to the off position (clock wise). In this position the brake shift interlock is disabled and you can move the shifter to neutral. these instructions are also in the owners manual in the driving section.

Try your local auto parts store and look for a Haynes manual. Or find a buddy who works as a mechanic that has access to the industry software that could provide information you seek.

check for a hole in the side of the block from a busted con rod .

have a pressure test done on the cooling system and watch where the water is coming from. It is more than likely a welsh plug but it could be from a head gasket /warped head or from a hose to the heater

Did you disconnect the battery? Would this make it a requirement to re enter anti theft code? I know its silly but could you have trapped the wiring harness during the clutch job?

There is no magic wire you can cut and you cant disconnect it. If either is done the car will never start until it is replaced and reprogrammed. Unless the PCM, PATS module, and ignition cluster are all functioning with the same code it wont start. If you disconnect the theft system without 'disabling' it first with a next gen. star scanner, it wont start.

If the wires are loose just tighten them. First you need to take the battery ground off the battery so you don't short out your wrench.

If it doesn't have a wiring problem the keyless entry is how you turn the alarm on. check the batteries make sure the key less entry is programmed to your car. If it's a GT it should have an alarm

what car the mustang. did you read the new book that came with this new Pioneer? ever done this before.???? there are books covering audio installs and 10 zillion on line, and utubes to the max. ever look there first? to learn the ropes then ask where you get hung up? iiidhook up ? decode, to "i'd like to hook up but can figure it out?"

I just had a similar problem with a mustang.. The baffel in the gas tank had broken loose.. So the gas would slosh around the tank.. I could hear the baffle in the tank moving when i would go around corners.. WHEN I WOULD MAKE A RIGHT TURN THE ENGINE WOULD DIE..
