2001 F-250 Super duty V-10 small amount of oil in radiator

oil in a radiator indicates that the transmission oil cooler in the radiator tank has failed and leaking transmission oil into the radiator there are 2 possible fixes fix one is a new radiator fix 2 is to give the radiator oil cooler a miss altogether and opt foe an air cooler mounted in front of the radiator the advantages here are that the radiator then has a bigger capacity to handle the engine heat as there is no hot transmission oil adding to the engine heat the second advantage is that the transmission oil is being cooled to ambient temp and not engine temp which makes for longer transmission oil life the disadvantage is that it cost a bit more than a radiator initially but the long term savings are real oil to air oil coolers are available from auto transmission shops and quality auto spares shops

2001 f250 changed battery changed alternator stupid thing stiil will not charge battery

make sure the cables are both good if they have a spot that feels flimsy the wires inside are likely corroded and the current is not running through it properly. a simple charging system check would be recommended.

Remove clearance lights housing

You can remove the lens and the housing, but you will have a large hole that will need body work and a rood repaint. Best to keep them. Here is a good installation link that shows the holes: http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/99-03-7-3l-exterior-discussion/181253-cab-light-install-pics.html

How to replace door latch

Remove the door panel. Screws can be at the door handle, in the arm rest and at the bottom. First lift up on the panel and pull off. If it doesn't lift up, then pry the panel off. Plugs hold it on. Remove the noise barrier, if it's there. Have the window up. Remove the bolt for the window guide at the bottom. Pull it down a bit, not out. There are three plastic clips to unlatch that holds the rods for the door handles At the door jam there are three torx screws to remove. Pull the latch out some and remove the plugs.

2001 ford f250 super duty power mirrors don't work, power at fuse but not at switch

If power at fuse, must have power coming out of fuse. Check both sides of the fuse. If no power to switch that's all it could be if the plug is all the way on the switch and switch is good.

Runs great until shifting from 1rst to 2nd gear (auto-trans)suddenly bogs down like it went into neutral, what could this be

run the fault codes and check for TCM problem. If it shifts into neutral like you describe then the engine would increase in rpms as the load came off. More than likely shifting into a too high gear which indicates a selector program problem.
