you are going to have a wiring harness for both vehicles because they are going to be totally different the make and model different and all the different types of controls and upgrade one has, the computer wiring diagram or layout, the older vehicle may have less wiring than the newer one, all the new electronic devices installed on the newer car compared to the older vehicle. lights setup, if has power door locks, power windows, power trunk, powered whatever,
anti-braking, the vehicles computer system will all be different setup, codes for the devices in the car. it mite have the same motor but that all it will be just the motor.

Part number/belt number for a 2008 Dodge Ram 6.7 with out ac
check with an auto parts store they have a listing. if your trying to bypass the a//c then you can measure the belt routing leaving out the distance for the a/c. you could also try going to the dealer to see if they have a listing for your truck without a/c.
2001 dodge ram stalls while driving
Make sure you don't have any vacuum hoses of on the intake. If that doesn't work check mass airflow sensor. Unplug sensor if it run better with out the sensor being plugged in the replace. You can blow the sensor out with mass air flow sensor but I have not ha the best luck with this product.
2014 dodge ram keyless entry only working intermittently with both remotes
Check owners manual and see where antennae for entry system is located. You may just have a poor range on the system's antennae, but sounds off to me. The vehicle is new enough that dealer should talk to you about it for free. They may have a bulletin on the issue and will tell you about it if you ask them. Too new to have system going bad, batteries in remotes maybe, but both at once would be a bit fishy.
On a ram 1500 if I turned the pulley number of time and sstopped the groove at TDC but not in cylinder 1 position will the truck run bad or the timing offset?
the timing mark indicates where the no 1 piston is in the bore. It can be at tdc compression stroke (firing) or at tdc exhaust. If it is on compression stroke ( test by removing no 1 plug and feeling the pressure under your thumb) then the rotor button will be pointing to no 1 HT lead in the distributor cap. If it is on exhaust stroke the rotor button will be 180 degrees from no 1 ht lead . It it is point to no 1 HT lead on compression stroke the truck will start ___IF YOU HAVE THE CORRECT FIRING ORDER FOR THE ht LEADS ) and if it is 180 degrees out it will not start. If it starts and runs but backfires then you will have the firing order wrong on 2 leads
I have a 88dodge ram 150 can I put a 318 out of a
It can be done but you have to be careful about a few things. From 1971 to 1992 was the original LA (small block) engine, 1993 and up are the Magnum engines. They are different in some ways but the most important in your situation is that although both are externally balanced, the two are balanced differently (the 360 Magnum uses lighter pistons) and each requires a uniquely balanced damper, flywheel, drive plate, or torque converter. It would be easier to stay with a Pre 1993 engine if possible. Otherwise make sure you get the convertor / flywheel with the engine.
