How to find short circuit
Different circuits needs different ways. You can start by checking which fuse gets blown when replaced and check what circuit that fuse supplies it's power to. That will narrow down your search to within that circuit. Next remove all components that are connected to the circuit. Replace fuse again. If it still blows, that means that the supply lines is shorted to ground. REMEMBER. Fuses gets blown when its supply line is shorted to ground. If fuse does not blow, connect each component one at a time. The component that blows the fuse once connected is the one that is short circuited.
My air bag light keeps coming on and off
So what you saying is,after more than 30 years
of vehicles having these electronic systems, that
turn on a dash light to tell you a vehicle system has
a possible problem---you have never studied or learned
about them or know what to do,have never read any owners manuals or discussed vehicles with people at work, family, neighbors,or never been to a repair shop or
every had this happen on any vehicle?
It does not matter what dash light comes on,you have a
system fault
There is no difference from one system to the next, as far
as what to do or how to diagnose it
I guess that is the question !
As it is now, your air bags are turned off, until a shop
finds & repairs or resolves the issue, whatever it may be.
