Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight on the battery. Check to see if the wires to the starter are tight. Try starting it in neutral to make sure the safety switch is being make. Also hold it up into park and try.

Since you have a battery and starter in good shape, the next step is A) check for any ignition fuse blown or any Ignition Relay,which you can find in the fuse box, either in the Enginecompartment or under the dashboard. B) Also check for a Earthing wire if is CLEAN to Contact either close to the Starter Motor, or side of the Engine and Chassis. maybe the climate control is no longer activating the hot water control on the heater

take it in to an accredited auto electrician and have the voltage regulator checked batteries die from under charge or overcharge and that is the job of the regulator to keep the voltage at 14.5-14.8 volts DC

Check the actuator motors on the inside on the heater box to see if they are working. They are small motors with rods mounted on the outside of the heater under the dash. This motor moves the arms that direct the heat to where you want it.

Time to rebuild the transmission.

that is so the the engine dosent die. it needs rpm to run. when you push the gas the torque converter kicks in and applies power to the wheels.

This may be the dreaded antitheft security system. Look for a picture on the dash when this happens that says SECURITY or a picture of a car with a lock through it. This a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, or not seen at all. When the communication breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. (like it thinks it's being hot wired) The car shuts down because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle.
