My spark plugs are changed
To save youself some grief, you should scan the PCM for codes. This would lead you to other items that may be causing the problem.
You mentioned you did 2 and had to run and get scocket? Did you change all the plugs?
The igntion control module is located under the coils, these have malfuntioned and cause very odd symtoms.
Another possible problem is loss of compression in a cylinder due to a burnt valve.
What can cause my care
A fuel pump will cause this check fuel pressure it should be 48-55 p.s.i with key on engine off.
My headlights on my 1996 Buick Roadmaster need
Look for a pin on top of the headlight assembly and for another on the side of the assembly, near the mid-line of the Buick. The top pin controls the vertical alignment of the headlight, and the side pin controls the horizontal alignment.Insert the screwdriver into each pin and twist to adjust the headlight beam .Be careful not to over-tighten.Its like a screw.------------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
1996 buick roadmaster keeps overheating:
A shotgun approach to repairs can really rack up the bills.
If your symptoms are loss of water and you have replaced the thermostat, you more than likely have an issue with steam. And that steam more than often comes from a bad head gasket. Most head gasket gasket failures seem to be confined to the water side initially, but let it go on bigger damage will occur.
You can buy a litmus test strip to dunk in the coolant. It will indicate if there are exhaust residuals in the water and thus a gasket failure.
However it may just be something simple, given that you have just about replaced everything:
have you given the radiator a good hosing inside and out?
is the radiator fan running when it should be?

1996 buick roadmaster. temp gauge goes almost all
I assume you have a 3.8L V6. Probably thermostat, but first take a look in the radiator to make sure it is full. Not just the plastic overflow tank, take the radiator cap off and look. Make sure the engine is cold though. The radiator should be full to the top. The way the system works is that as you drive your car, the water heats up and expands and the check valve in the radiator cap will let the overflow go into the plastic tank when the pressure get over a set amount usually 14-17 lbs. When you shut off your engine, the water will be slowly sucked back into the radiator as the engine cools. if the radiator cap is bad, it may not let the water get sucked back into the radiator and the engine will run hot, you will get air and steam bubbles in the engine, the thermostat will work as long as it has water running by it but if a slug of steam goes by it, it will close. "Burping" that engine is a pain but just keep the overflow tank full and check it every time you *start* the car. The air will work itself out.

Engine fan not comming on
Theres a coolant temp sensor that controls the fan, it will turn fan on when the temp is reached, its screwed into the intake near the thermostat housing.
I have a small oil
There is a huge difference in price and oppinion between your two mechanics. If I may suggest,go with the oil sender unit and hope this is it because replacing a main seal is going to cost you a lot more money .Ask the mechanic to put the car up on the hoist and show you the leaking sender unit. They should be willing to do this for you.Use your own judgement and good luck
