When changing out battery's without external power supply can cause modules to stop working . Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems Not saying this is what happen to your vehicle . Do you know how to do basic automotive electrical testing , volt meter etc... Find a wiring diagram an check power and grounds for the Heater - A/C control module . Can you switch modes , defrost , vent , floor etc. Can the Blower speed be changed low , med. hi ? Just no temp change . If your talking brake line best to replace the whole thing ! Transmission or cooler line if the rest of the line around thee failure looks good ( no cracks , Stress lines , thinning , change of color / corrosion wear ) then a coupler will do the job . Fuel supply line is usually pretty piecemeal anyway so coupling part of it is OK under idea condition. NEVER Repair/Couple fuel injector lines. High Pressure ! There really are no known problems as long as its been maitained, the only thing is if it has the vette engine they are costly to tune up, as seeing that the dist cap and rotor are behind the waterpump, besides that we have five customers that own older one and they maintain them and they lovem, all weve done over the years is brakes ,oil changes, trany flushes, tune ups, shocks ,all regular main, theres one thing i just remembered and thats the underhood fuse relay box, its plastic and the power feed melts plastic and it need to be repair because it looses power while driving or wont start, they put the power prong bolted to plastic and it heats up and melts causing a bad connection , this is an easy fix also, hope this helps.

Have you checked the blower motor with a meter for power and ground ?

If the car is over 5 years old, have the tranny fluid changed, and any filters, too. If it's low, find out why.
