1990 Ford Thunderbird Questions & Answers
How do I adjust 1990 thunderbird headlights
To adjust your headlights you need to turn the stud that sticks through the support of the retainer connecting your headlights to the header panel. Use a 4mm socket or wrench. Been a while since I had mine, but I seem to recall it being a rather tight area to work with.
Each headlight has 2 studs you can adjust if I remember right, Left/Right and Up/Down. The stud closer to the inner parking lights or inner high-beams adjusts your Up/Down motion. The studs closer to the outer corner signal lights adjust the left/right.

What is the firing order on a distributor cap
Hi Elikapeka . which engine is in your Thunderbird? Also Why do you want to know? is it not running?
the V6 3.8 litre firing order is:
V-6 Firing Order: 1-4-2-5-3-6
if you are having running problems and you have the big carburetor rather than injection. a good tuner guy is your expert and these guys do it by ear if they know what they are doing.

How do you change u-joints
No . it is not normal to have to this as the Cross is bolted to the pinion flange with 2 small bolts for each side. The drive shaft will slide out of the rear of the gear box normally or if there is a flange there unbolt the 2 halves of the flange and remove it . Some diff pinions have the same arrangement depending on the make and capacity of the diff and torque requirements

My coolint is evaperating, and i have to add every day
you must have a leak somewhere. Your coolant will not boil unless you have a leak. Check for leak traces of fluid the color of your anti-freeze. Your radiator cap is spring loaded and with time the spring gets weak. Check that area for leak traces. The easiest way to check for leaks is to look at your driveway. if you have a coolant leak the fluid traces will be on the driveway. Don't mistake your air conditioner water leak as being the coolant fluid. The anti-freeze coolant has a sweet smell whereas the air conditioner fluid is just plain water being removed from the air inside of your cab.
