How do you reprogram remote door fob
Here are the instructions.
1. Turn ignition to RUN or ACC.
2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located in LR quarter panel area (Connector will not be plugged into anything, it will have two pins inside it, if you have to unlug it you have the WRONG one. Not all vehicles are set up from factory for keyless remotes) All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode.
3. Press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
4. If programming a second keyless remote, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

How do you drop the gas to to repair/replace the gas tank float for a 1994 ford thunderbird?
First you need to change it all not just the float because it is old and why do it twice ...Y need complete pump and float kit...It will be hard to do without a lift also you need to have almost no fuel in it before you do it...There is only a couple straps and push fittingd also filler hose and evap hose...If you have never done it I dont recommend it in the yard.......Metalpoet.....Not as easy as it seems.

I'm betting it has something to do with the shift lock actuator or the harness to the actuator. I'm pretty sure it is located on the top of the steering column on your vehicle. The lower part of the dash will need to be removed and then the steering column lowered in order to gain access to it. This vehicle does have an airbag and unless you experience with airbag systems I would not recommend tackling this yourself. unplug the interlock. Replace the fuse. Start the vehicle. with your foot on the brake manually release the interlock with you hand and shift through the gears. If the fuse does not blow your on the right track. If the fuse does blow let me know and I'll get you some more info.Let me know if you have any questions and thank you for using Fixya.com I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

The one part that can affect both your cruise control and your speedometer is the vehicle speed sensor. The MOST LIKELY cause is failure of the speed sensor itself (very common). However, I would not run out and spend money on a speed sensor before verifying that the electrical circuits leading to and from the speed sensor are working correctly. The problem might be cause by a broken wire or a loose connector (also relatively common). The sensor is located at the left-hand side of the rear of the transmission housing.
