Get a can of CDC throttle valve cleaner and spray it into the throttle body, then wipe the throttle bore out with a soft rag.

Take it back,till it's fixed.

Do you have eatc/electronic automatic temp control? The temp blend door, I wouldn't remove that, with no door, it seems to me your getting 50/50 hot and cold. Are there any eatc trouble codes? Does the engine reach operating temp, hopefully over 200 degrees F. Are the heater hoses hot to the touch? Do you live in an extremely cold region?

heater element is probably shot. slightly difficult to get to, so it will cost to have it fixed.

is battery dead?

Feel both your heater hose near the firewall. If one is colder than the other your heater core is bad.
If they are both hot its in the cab controls. Lee

If you hear the relay, you need to pull the door panel and check power at the motor. Power there replace it. No power, the wires tend to break in the rubber boot at the front of the door jam.

A blinking light usually means exhaust system probably catalic converter. You most likely have a small blockage in it which means exhaust can't get out correctly. Have vehicle scanned at autozone or similar.

when the battery dies or is removed , the anti-theft code of the radio kicks in and the unit will not work again until a special code for that radio is reinstalled the code could be in the user manual in the radio use section ,or there are sites on the net that may have the code for you
