Wont disengage out of 4 wheel drive 1998 ford
Be sure to put the truck in neutral, while engine is running, while you disengage from 4 wheel drive (low) to 4 wheel drive (high) and then finally to 2 wheel drive. It is critical to shift transmission into neutral when switching out of 4WD Low, as indicated in your owner's manual. Hopefully, this will help to FixYa problem!

It could very well be the starter after you get the starter fixed if the battery light is still on while the truck is running you can use a volt meter to check the voltage on the alternator or if you don't have a meter you can disconnect the pos post from the battery if it stays running the starter was the problem if it goes dead your alternator is bad i hope its not but that's what it sounds like to me. The starter does complete the circuit but when the alternator goes it will drain the battery losing one function at a time until she just gos dead. Hope this helps
98 ranger locked in park,ignition key won''t turn to start
there is a harness that feeds the ignition remove your steering wheel cover and you will see about a dozen wires going into a clip that is attached to the back of the steering wheel , those wires give way and are not making contact reach in to the back and pull the harness forward and then try and push each wire back into the clip try this and see if it works it solved my problem basicly it is just a loose wire in the harness,,
Radio speaker volume very low
could be radio could be speaker wires my suggestion is if it is all speakers and it happened at once and you have factory radio time for new radion
