WHERE IS THE FUSE FOR AN F150 2002 AC COMPRESSOR?
The fuse for the A/C compressor (clutch) is located in the power distribution box (fancy name for a fuse box) under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout. The fuse that you are asking about id the fuse in the number 13 position and should be a 15 amp fuse. Now the A/C compressor clutch relay is also in that same panel and is the relay located in the number 204 position. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy of it. Don't worry, no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.

2002 Ford F150. Cruise control stopped working. Check fuse and it is fine. Suggestions?
Did you have the recall done on it ?
recall 05S28. Description: Speed Control Deactivation Switch.
It could be a blow fuse in the recall harness, if you did have it done.
Try the self test, and see what the results are. If you do not get it into self test mode, it could be the fuse in teh recall harness that is blown. The 1st revision of the recall harness was an inline ATM fuse, not sure if the revision 2 was the same. If that fuse is blown, the switch is leaking, and should be checked.
Self-Test Diagnostics
WARNING:
This test is a key on engine off (KOEO) test only that is conducted in park only with emergency brake fully engaged.
1. Enter self-test diagnostics by depressing the speed control OFF switch while turning the ignition key ON, making sure the engine does not start and is not running. The speed control indicator on the instrument panel will flash once to indicate that speed control module entered the diagnostic mode. Five additional flashes at this point indicate a defective speed control servo. Release the OFF switch.
2. Press the remaining switches in this sequence: ON, RESUME, COAST and SET/ACCEL.
If the ON switch is not depressed within five seconds after entering the diagnostics mode, the module times out and the procedure must be started over.
The speed control indicator lamp will flash as each switch is depressed. Press each switch in the sequence immediately after the indicator light goes out for the previous switch.
Note:
There will be a slight delay when the last button is pressed and the lamp flashes.
3. A lamp flash with the last button (SET/ACCEL) indicates that the static test passed. If the lamp does not flash with the last button and there are no additional flashes of the lamp, the switch is defective.
If the lamp does not flash with the last button, and additional flashes occur, follow the chart below for trouble codes:
— 2 flashes - BPP defective, circuit is defective, brake applied, CPP switch or jumper (if equipped).

how do i set the clock on 2002 ford f-150
Need to have the key in the accy ( or run ) position.
On the Cassette version, there is a CLK button on the right side of the radio face, press this, and then use the seek button to increase / decrease the time. Pressing CLK again takes it to the min setting, Do not press a button for 10-15 seconds, and the display will return to normal.
single CD, CD changer, and Cassette /CD changer versions, the RDS button is what is used to get to the time setting, using the select button to change the hours, press RDS again to get to the min.

2002 Ford F150 4x4, 5.4L engine. Truck has 107000 miles and never lost a drop of oil. HAd spark plugs changed and all fluids changed front to back of truck to insure a continued and long vehicle life. 5 weeks later discovered I was 5 quarts low on engine oil, with no alarm or idiot light. Re-filled and the trend is the same, still loosing oil at an alarming rate. Always used Mobil 5w20 synthetic oil. No oil leaks visible, no oil on undercarriage or in driveway. tailpipe doesnot show black. No smoke at startup. No power loss. Any Ideas? Can the catalatic converter be atomizing the oil eliminating any residue out of the tailpipe?
This is certainly one of the strangest things I have ever heard as a mechanic. . This almost sounds like some one is playing a game of letting your oil out this vehicle. With no visible leaks no burning smell of oil. However I would recommend that you check the coolant in the radiator and see if the oil is in the coolant. (If they are mixing together) If they are mixing the coolant should have a milky look to it, creamish white. If its good then the only other logical explanation is that the vehicle i s burning alot of oil, but if that was true you would see a grayish blue smoke from tail pipe. If you are 100% sure they are no oil leaks on this vehicle, then this problem is surely strange. Check coolant and get back to me. Good Luck

2002 ford f150 four wheel drive front hubs not going into fourwheel drive
Is the system ESOF ( Electronic Shift On the Fly ) or MSOF ( Mechanical Shift On the Fly ) ?
If you have already tested to find the front drive shaft locks into place, and the front axle is the cause, looks to the front vacuum disconnect shift motor.
Item #10 in the parts diagram below :
Close up of it ( this is a picture from another person's bracket that broke ) :
Chances are the vacuum lines to the vacuum disconnect motor are cracked, the vacuum solenoids are not working correctly, or the vacuum to the solenoids is having an issue ( the reservoir ) :
Vacuum diagram for the shift motor
The pink line is vacuum for 2WD operation ( unlocks the axle ) the light blue vacuum line is for 4WD operation ( locks the axle ).
You can test right at the vacuum disconnect motor with a vacuum gauge with the motor running. Unplug the shift motor, and check for vacuum right at the motor.
Could be the shift motor has a damaged diaphragm and not holding vacuum or has water in it ( saw that 1 time ).
Start with checking for vacuum. Also check the fuses for the vacuum solenoids, the power is always at the solenoid, ground is switched on and off by the GEM ( Generic Electronics Module ) to operate them
