2002 f150 4wd drive not not working,

Transfer Case - Electronic Shift on the Fly (ESOF) Features A rotary switch allows the vehicle operator to choose between 2WD, 4H, and 4L modes of 4x4 operation. The generic electronic module (GEM) controls the operation of the 4x4 system. The output shaft speed (OSS), mounted in the rear of the transfer case, informs the GEM of the vehicle speed. The shift motor sense plate, an integral part of the electronic shift motor, informs the GEM to the positions of the transfer case (go to Table 4). The transmission range sensor is located on the LH side of the transmission; this sensor informs the GEM when the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position. The electronic shift motor, mounted externally at the rear of the transfer case, drives a rotary cam which moves the mode fork and range fork within the transfer case to select between the 2WD, 4H, and 4L positions. The 4x4/4x2 vacuum solenoids are attached to the upper RH side of the engine compartment, and alternately route vacuum to the vacuum motor which engages/disengages the center axle disconnect collar in the front axle assembly. The 4x4 shift motor relay is a module containing two relays. Under the control of the GEM, the 4x4 shift motor relay shifts the transfer case shift motor between the 2WD, 4H, and 4L modes. The transfer case clutch relay is an electromechanical relay used to activate the transfer case clutch within the transfer case. Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop ! The fuse for my dashboard and taillights went out and I cant find where in the owners mannuel which fuse I need to change

A lot of cars have another relay box in the engine bay . Recommend opening this relay box and there is a good possibility you will find a fuse marked on the lid of this box that is labelled as tail light. If all else fails get a 12v probe {google it or go to an auto shop} and you can test every fuse with the probe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bjzq8GXi3_U

Have 2003 ford f150 4.2. Truck just died like out of gas. Replaced, fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator.still cranks won't start.what could it be?

Maybe it's an ignition problem. Check the distributor, etc.. If timing chain/belt breaks, it might seem like it ran out of gas too.

My transfer case goes into gear but doesn't turn the wheels.

The lights can come on wihtout the transfer case really working..the lights are actvated by a simple switch and only indicate the switch has been depressed.

It's sounds as if you have a problem with the lickage, or maybe damage inside the transfer case itslef

Truck starts to shake at 40 mph gets to 45 mph then the shaking stops after 45 mph

Many possibilities. I would start with wheels, and take it to a well equipped tire dealer. Have them check that the wheels and rims are clean, properly torqued. Spin the wheels up to speed and check for dynamic wheel balance. Check for broken radial belts. Check for recalls on your tires. Check for driveshaft and universal joint damage/ balance.
