1989 Ford Probe horn keeps blowing on its own in warm weather.

Sounds like the steering wheel horn switch or loom is faulty. Be carefull if it has an air bag, it may go off!

Automatic 1989 ford probe cruise control broke.

the only thing i can think of to fix this is that you have a vacuum leak 89 to 95 used a vacuum line control, if this is leaking then the system will not hold in place or not even move. check the vacuum line and look for cracks and splits in the pipes and connections. if you find any replace these parts. if you cannot afford to replace them clean them and use some superglue to repair them but i would get replacements as soon as you can. you can sometimes hear a hissing sound where its leaking from but if the engine is loud you may not hear it.

I have an 89 mustang lx 2.3l My front vents quit

On most cars vacuum hoses from the engine power diaphragms that open and close the doors that change where the air blows in the heater system. Check for vacuum leaks. sometimes the diaphragms will go bad. It’s hard to say without actually digging into the system. There might even be something blocking the doors from moving that fell into your defrosters. But at least this gives you a few places to check

Why does my engine dir while driving?

This sounds crazy...Next time it dies..loosen your gas cap...If you hear a suction sound like air trying to get into your gas tank...Your could be vapor locked....It's when the pressure in your gas tank becomes greater than your gas pump...Engine will shut off... Worth a try. I had this to happen to me..Cause by over filling your gas tank or topping it off with that extra 50cent

I have a 1989 Ford Probe GL. It has no security features. We get a call from our neighbor that our car's horn is blasting. Not honking but a solid sound. I tried finding a relay/fuse diagram.

This will happen with bad battery. I had this on a VW. Open door and turn igntion key to stop, then check for failing battery

89 ford probe, 2.2 turbo, no spark.

Check out your "fuel cut-off switch" located by the windshield washer tank behind the driver's side wheel-well panel in the trunk. It's a small box with a push-button at the top. If the button is "soft" when you push it, that's probably your problem. Replace the unit by removing the washer fluid tank first. The box simply plugs in. Probably about $ 100. I replaced three in my Probe. They rot out, and the car simple dies.
