Yes, you will need to flush the entire brake system and change the master cylinder. The power steering fluid has eaten the seals inside of the master cylinder and if it is not removed from the system it will take out your wheel cylinders and caliper seals.

Could be a number of things. Start by checking your fluid lvl in the master cylinder. If it is full, I would think your problem is the master cylinder. If it is empty, you need to look for wet spots to find the source of your leak.

Check to see if one of your brackets holding the exhaust pipe has come loose. That'll make a rattling sound - especially if it towards the end by the tailpipe. When you're accelerating - more air is forced thru your exhaust at a faster rate, so it's not moving as much as when you're sitting still and the truck is just at an idle with less air/exhaust moving thru the tailpipe. If it's only making the noise while the truck is stationary & the noise stops one the truck is moving - that pretty much rules out anything to do withe the drive-train or suspension. You are sure the noise is from the back & not coming from under the hood? If under the hood - check your oil level ASAP.

Sorry, but you can't. You have to have it scanned. This will tell you a direction to look. It could be the key, receiver, wires, or the PCM.

Replace your Driver side switch. It obviously has become corroded or shorted out from moisture. This happens a lot when people forget to put their windows up before a rain.

The click you hear is probably from the starter relay, which means the problem is not in your ignition switch or the relay. I would say your problem is inside the starter itself.

The synchronizers are the reason it won't come out of gear. They are damaged and the slide ring won't go over them. You will have to remove the transmission and replace the 4th gear synchronizer. I wish I had a better answer. Hope this was helpful. Good luck.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for about 10 or 20 seconds? It may only need to be reset. You may also need to replace the batteries in your remote, or possibly try a second remote if you have one. The problem is definitely alarm related.
